I have the older tec-loc sheath. It carries great and the knife will handle anything you throw at it. It may be designed for urban carry but that doesn't mean it can't handle tough jobs on the farm with ease.

Is the vertical play even a warranty issue? I don't want to lose my awesome knife for weeks and pay 5+ dollars for nothing.

Some questions about my kiwi

I recently bought a kiwi for myself after gifting one to my grandfather a few years back and loving it. It's a great knife but mine has some things that seem odd to me compared to the one I had handled before. The blade sticks in the closed position and is difficult to flick closed. In fact, at the ...

If it were a kiwi I'd say the bone but the Kopa's frame is so sleek, the cf is quite fitting. The squash bone is nice though! Natural materials are the best and they age really nicely.

It's not on your list but the Perrin Street Beat has blown me away for the past year or two I've had it. I use it on the farm and it carries nice and slim. The knife gives you a great grip and it's really easy to access from the sheath. On top of that it's nice and strong but it's an outstanding sli...

That native is amazing.

It looks good open. But **** they even streamlined that thing when closed. I wish I had unlimited cash I would be tempted to try that sucker out even though I only carry traditional slipjoints these days.

Also the thinness is awesome.

My vote is with the native. I personally prefer the design over the caly 3 and I'm a big fan of vg-10.

I found that the persian's pivot system with that ss bolster was really susceptible to dirt and water. Those would severely mess up the overall action of the knife. Try lubing it up and if dirt is coming out, then keep lubing and wiping till it's fixed.

Ohh boy that is a nice knife. Probably the best looking spydie yet. Wish it had some nice black linen micarta and a price point of around 100. Imagine how slick that would look though.

Sal, I'm liking the use of no boye dent and no spine jimping. Keeping it classic and simple.
