I've been away from the forums for a while and happened to pick this day to see what's new. Glad I did. This blade looks sweet! One on it's way. Aught to arrive in time for my birthday too.

Thanks Sal! :D

Free album download

Empires, a new band out of Chicago, has released its first album as a free download. I've only heard a few tracks so far but they are good. I'd call them updated old school rock. But, what do I know?

GET IT.

Little help?

I'm in the process of putting up a site and have the introductory pages written. Could someone take a couple of minutes to read them and tell me if I clearly conveyed the purpose of the site?

The site can be found at www.craftgeeks.com

Thanks!

Speaking of grass on knife forum. Knife are associating with blades and cutting to me. And I have completely newbie question in this regard. Short of getting lawn mower what are the options of cutting grass? For what we have here, buying one is certainly not worth it, and maybe renting is not best ...

A panorama of the Rockies in winter

Howdy Folks, I was looking for good panorama stitching application for my new Mac and stumbled across the link to Double Take . This is great software for the hobbyist photog such as myself and the price is reasonable for what it does. I'll make an honest man of myself and buy it today since it did ...

Ditto what yablanowitz said. To diagnose it further; If it is alternator noise, the individual beats of the noise will be so close together that it will sound like a whine of varying frequency. In that case the line filter will take care of it. If it is a leaky ignition system, the individual beats ...

New Harmon Kardon Drive + Play - $20

I just ordered one at [Link deleted by SeanH] Normally I don't post things like this because it borders on spam, which I detest. But this was such a good deal I thought it would be remise of me not to give others a chance at it. This is the first model of the Drive and Play which has been discontinu...

I can just imagine the scene... I've just been puled over for, ah, a tail light out. The officer hands me a warning to sign and I whip out my BalliYo and flip it open to sign on the dotted line, and see a sudden movement out of the corner of my eye. Uh, Sir? It's a pen. Please don't shoot. It's just...

The 6P LED is listed at 80 lumens for 11 hours.
True. And if you never need a turbo mode that the Fenix T1 provides, then the Surefire 6PL is the better light.

Fenix T1. Definitely. Here is a link to a mini review I did on mine: http://spyderco.com/forums/showpost.php?p=401758&postcount=19 It has two modes, bright and blinding . 60 lumens and 225 lumens. It is built like a tank. It uses the new, very efficient, premium Q5 LED that will live longer than...

I resently got a Fenix T1 from http://www.lighthound.com and It has surpassed all my expectations. I also have an Inova Bolt 2L that I've been carrying so I put fresh batteries in them both to the test them side by side once it got dark. The Inova is rated at 4.6 watts and the Fenix T1 is rated at 6...
