I think the Khukuri makes a great EDC knife but the only drawback is the lack of jimping on the blade spine and finger choil. When choking up on the blade, I was afraid of my fingers slipping up onto the blade so STR was nice enough to put jimping on it for me for a small fee. Problem solved and the...

Navigator 2 Resurrection

I was wondering if there is any interest in the Spyderco community in resurrecting the Navigator 2 design for a Sprint Run or regular production run. I've always loved the design but wasn't a fan of the stainless steel handles. I was thinking of VG-10 steel, lockback design, G-10 handle and jimping ...

Fake Spyderco Shirts on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/SPYDERCO-folding-mi ... 6fc3b89802

Just wanted to make everyone at Spyderco aware that someone is using the Spyderco logo to make their own shirts and selling them on Ebay.

The spiked back plate on the Tuff prototype looks like a real pants shredder! As for the Lionspy (SpyLeone), I believe it's the same dimensions as Lion Steel's SR-1 model.

The ZDP-189 Caly III with CF handles makes for the perfect EDC knife for dress pants. I carried one daily for three years. The CF handles won't shread dress pants like G-10 does and the wire clip allows for discret carry.

I would love to see a sprint run of the Lum Tanto fixed blade with maroon micarta handles, VG-10 blade and Japanese made. Spyderco....make it happen! As for the Lum Tanto folder, there is already "another knife company" currently making a similiar design from Lum. I remember Sal mentioning...

I prefer the earlier proto I can see the stop pin screw on the CF proto, the thick portion over the hole is more ugly than the thin one on the A`dam proto... I hope it wont be another Taiwan made.. The prototype does seem to be a little more streamlined than the production version. Kind ...

To each their own! I have average sized hands and the Zulu fits my hand nicely and very comfortable. The blade opening and closing is very smooth indeed. In fact, you really have to be careful that it doesn't bite you when closing the blade. It would have be nice to have jimping on top of the blade ...

Thanks for the heads up. I was lucky enough to grab one before they sold out. While browsing the other Spydercos for sale, I noticed that the Serrated Endura 4 received a rather poor customer rating of 3 out of 5. Upon looking at the reviews I found out why. Here's what one of the reviewers said: Bl...

Barong, Khukuri, Chokwe, P'Kal all have the potential to be collector items. Seems like the ethnic designs have little interest while in production but become much sought after pieces after they are discontinued like the Persian and Yojimbo. Also, I think the Superhawk and Street Beat will be must h...

Not sure if this is a fake but notice the sterile blade and the grind on the blade. This isn't the first sterile Pkal that I have seen on Ebay.

I really like the Caly 3.5 design. The blade profile reminds me of the full size Calypso. Sal , I was curious to what goes into the decision process on the country of origin. I noticed the PPT and Zulu designs were Taiwanese made (assembled?). Is that in part to the contoured G10 handles? I assume w...
