Did a thread search here, JUST to be sure. Nobody here has discovered 'Longmire'? Spent the last two weekends burning through the first two seasons, and tonight, I ought to be completely there. Fantastic show, with such stars as Gerald McRainey, A. Martinez, & Lou Diamond Phillips in supporting ...

A Buck 3-series medium stockman and a 91mm SAK are with me daily. The OHO job is usually a Stretch, LOL.

Backspring with some OOMPH, I like that! Had no idea it was near the size of a D-Fly, wow. Small, pointy, usuable blade.

Changes are subtle enough to me that w/o having knowledge of it, I may(MAY) simply take it for a sprint run in brown G10. In other words, the CQI I see here ought to be well worth it. Paul, thanks MUCH for this post, your pics, and the effort. Us Stretch folk know you are Thee Man for this model, an...

Blerve, I had that exact model Falcon. Solid build quality and finish, as you see from Moki. For me...it just didn't seem enough to hold on to...substance in the hand. Also, even at 3", that blade was not the smoothest to open with the thumbstud. Now, handling the Air, I was was take aback at h...

To the OP, both the Vic and Wenger lines have several with locking mainblades. The Wenger has a 'locking' flathead driver when you push forward to exert torque on the screw. Wengers have been DC'd now, so if you find one or two you like, snatch them up.

We also have a byrd forum for input. I've been carrying the new Meadowlark for the past few days..... The knife is from the new maker. . Naturally the steel will not be on the same performance level as some of our more specialized steels.... sal Sal, I bounced around the Byrd forum a bit and couldn...

i WOULD NOT recommend a .40. Felt recoil recoil is generally greater than .45, and ammo costs more than either 9 or .45 (aside from recent ammo issues.) I have other reasons, but they're not important to your decision. Suffice to say, 9mm is easier and lesst costly on the shooter, encouraging more p...

This didn't seem TOO old to resurrect, LOL. I have noted the Stretch pictured here on the catalog page has no mark from Sal. I've just acquired a twin that does. Does it indicate it's age, or just that some were marked and some not? :)

Well, I do my team the courtesy of defunking the blade with hand-sanitizer gel, first. There were only two out of 10 that knew how to work the back-lock, two asked, and 6 handed it back to me properly for me to close. That got me to thinking. Someone who didn't know how to use a slip joint could eas...

Would you hand a Spydie slipjoint to

a co-worker, for example, to cut open their bagel? Or, would such a job be best reserved for a locking knife, w/o the chance of them having the blade close on them due to their ignorance of proper technique?

I handled the pink squeak last week, and a black one yesterday. The pink one actually gave me some confidence in gifting it to a spouse, for instance, that it wouldn't bite them easily. The black, not so much. In the same case as the black, was an orange Pingo. Definitely a stronger spring, ala the ...

, I have the fixed blade as an option for self defense against unarmed assaults (usually by thugs in groups where power is felt in numbers). The firearm comes into play if they too are armed with a knife or gun and intent on harming me or those I love and care about. . Two things. More than one att...

Just got to handle this one today. Had it NOT been in pink, LOL, it would've went home with me. I'll have to order one...
