To the OP, both the Vic and Wenger lines have several with locking mainblades. The Wenger has a 'locking' flathead driver when you push forward to exert torque on the screw. Wengers have been DC'd now, so if you find one or two you like, snatch them up.

We also have a byrd forum for input.

I've been carrying the new Meadowlark for the past few days..... The knife is from the new maker.

i WOULD NOT recommend a .40. Felt recoil recoil is generally greater than .45, and ammo costs more than either 9 or .45 (aside from recent ammo issues.)
