I am not sure, but that would be a good place to check. Seems like on a small island like that, 50 or so top end spydercos can't hide forever. We'll see.
I just talked to my bro again and he thought of 4 more knives so I added them to the list. ATR Serrated Black Coated Little Temp Leaf PE Pro Venetar PE (His first spyderco from waaaaaay back in the day) Pro Grip
Also found out they left the Blue Lum, a Dodo, and two other Santa Fe Stoneworks ...
My brother thinks it is likely kids or a crackhead. He had the knives all hanging on wooden pegs so I wonder if the blue lum got hung up in a hurried attempt to grab and just got passed by. St Croix can be a rough place. His dog just died 3 weeks ago and already a break in. Makes one wonder how ...
As far as I know, none of them were CC#'d. I know that more than likely, he will never see his knives again, but figured a person has to at least try. Crooks seem to generally be pretty stupid, so maybe they will sell them on ebay and give their real address.
Yesterday my brother's Spyderco collection was stolen. Someone broke into his house and pretty well cleaned out his knife collection. He lives in St Croix in the US Virgin Islands, so if any Spyderco knives show up on ebay or any other sites being sold from St Croix, they will be his. They also ...
This is Ally. My wife and I found her out in the middle of nowhere when whe was about 6 weeks old. She was covered in fleas and half bald from mange. She is about ten years old now. She lost her partner in crime about 6 months ago. 10 year old lab named Dakota. [img][IMG]http://i175.photobucket.com ...
I will guess 166. Thanks for the generous contest. I only wish I could say I will pass it on since I have a Stretch 2 coming. I would be plenty happy with the original. Thanks again.
Don't get me wrong, they are all good, but above rock. I suggest anyone start with The Border Trilogy before the others. Those are easier and get one into the style, ready for the tougher books.
Man, read that one a while back. Pretty crazy stuff. If you like it, you should check out McCarthy's other stuff. Blood Meridian is pretty good, but super violent. The Road is really good. Suttree is good, but very different from his other stuff I have ...
I have never seen either of these shows, but I am not sure if it would be a good idea for Spyderco to try to get their knives on the show. If the guy doesn't know much about knives, which I assume he doesn't if he carries crap knives, then he is fairly likely to break one. That wouldn't look good ...
It's a right handed world. I am the truly odd lefty who only carries as a righty. I guess it is because my first spyderco was the old integral clip delica and it rode in my right front pocket for 13 years. Now I can't imagine carrying in my left pocket. Just start carrying right handed and it will ...
My only sweet deal came at the International Sportsman Expo. It was a new Catcherman for $25. He had some others as well for a very good price, but they had too much shelf wear to re-sell and none of them were something I was interested in as a user. Still, I was very happy with the Catcherman.
Aloe Vera on any type of wound/burn helps speed along the healing process.
Eat papaya to help lower blood pressure. (Can also make filet mignon out of the toughest, crappiest piece of steak. Put strips of papaya directly on tough ...
For me it is the large Persian. I really should have picked one up at STP when they were so cheap. I did get the Dodo at STP when they were so cheap so that is some comfort, but I should have gotten two.
I very often carry my Dodo as my only knife. I use it at work and it performs pretty much every job very well. I love this knife, but I do have one minor complaint: Not sure I can explain this well, but here goes. The 50/50 choil sticks down too far on the tang side. Often it will catch on something ...
I have a Captain and a CF BG42 Military. On my Military, the lock is so solid I wouldn't hesitate to use it for anything. It is its good looks that keep me from using it hard, not the liner lock. The Captain lock will travel a bit with only moderate pressure on the spine. I don't think I could get ...
Nope, no buying/selling/trading here. bladeforums has a forum for buy/sell/trade that is pretty good. Not all spyderco there, but you just have to take the time to pick through the threads and find what you want.
September of 1999. Thanks for the contest. I know I am barely over the post limit, but I just don't have that much to say. Would be really happy to have a D4 PE though.
