The sazbo is looking really tempting for me really liking the blade shape and cf scales just can't help but wish the top edge was sharp as its crying out for it IMO . That swedge is so thick that it would have to be re-ground in order to be sharpened, but it juts out too far when closed for that to...

I like the design. I don't get the name or what led to this folders creation. Does anyone know? The original custom knife by Bob T was called the Century Starfighter. The original Starmate was the Spyderco collab with the addition of the hole. It was one of the early classics with nested liner lock...

Carlos! Ye old devil. ;) How're you doing, guy? :) (I'm not sure if you remember me or not from the "old days" here on the forum. Think back to like 2001-2003). As for the Szabo Sprint, I think it could certainly be a possibility some day. It seems that Spyderco generally creates Sprint R...

I don't object to S90V.

Is it too early to ask for a Szabo sprint? ;)

I've had my Szabo folder for a couple days now and I have to say that it is one of the most impressive pieces to ever bear the Spyderbug -- and I've owned a lot of Spydies over the years. Congrats to Laci and the Spydercrew. The current CF scales are great -- providing good grip without the grip-tap...

I just got mine. The trick seems to be to slide your thumb across that shelf hollowed in the G10 next to it as you open the blade. So in other words, instead of putting your thumb into the hole first, then trying to rotate the blade (which will often slip because the hole is partially obscured by th...

N=1, but I just got a CRK Sikayo recently in S35VN and the **** thing cuts like the first run burgundy ZDP-189 Caly Jr I had (and beat to death) ages ago. I hope Spyderco upgrades to it from S30V.

Everything's looking good Sal.

Can't wait to get my hands on the Szabo and Tuff. And now I have to add the Nilakka to my shopping list. I know that it is pukko-based but to me it looks like a proper traditional tanto made into a folder. Good stuff!

+1. I should have thought of that. Besides the Yojimbo 2 is hollow-ground, and I'd like a FFG SuperWharn. Afterall, Spyderco has got to to *something* with that S110V stock they've got sitting around. :D

I'll admit that like the low-leverage RIL on the current Tuff proto over the integral compression on the earlier one. Never warmed up to integral compression locks on prior models.

I am waiting for it too. With CF scales it is not going to be cheap, but I haven't been able to find an estimate either.

As an incremental upgrade, S35VN seems a realistic choice. I like S30V and would love an improved version.

Carpenter's CTS B75 might be suitable -- certainly worth a trial.
