I can't speak for Marines, but am in the Active duty Army now.

In basic training, all soldiers go through the old-school bayonet training. You aren't "issued" one...rather, you grab one out of an old ammo can, run through the course, and then put it back.

Greetings from Iraq

Hello folks,
I just wanted to drop a line and thank everybody for helping me pick my knives that I deployed with. I don't know if i'm going to have the time, but I plan on trying to give some "real world" pro's and con's of my knives as they're used in just about the most extreme conditions. I'm ...

I've prefer Craftsman and Snap On. However, I do run into problems. 1) Craftsman's QC has really gone downhill the last few years and 2) I don't make enough money to purchase snap on stuff

I'll chime in here as a servicemember about to re-deploy myself.

First of all, I would like to thank your buddy...the strain that it puts on a family is tremendous. I myself returned in December from overseas to a wife that decided she would rather be with someone else. In fact, I'm currently ...

I just ordered two Spyderco's for my upcoming deployment to Iraq. I ordered a Black Native CPMS30V and a Black Military C36GPSBK.

I must say I'm really excited about them. My every day carry knife now is a Delica SE and I love it ...
