Re: Help me build out my spydie wishlist

Get a Mamba. It's a work of art. Plus, it didn't run for very long, it's discontinued, and prices are at an all-time low. Get it now before the price skyrockets.

Re: Wearing blades out

My brother's serrated Tasman Salt's serrations have begun to wear down to the point where the knife is a bit like a dull steak or butter knife (you can literally drag it around your arm aggressively while only leaving a few red marks). I keep telling him to send it in to get it sharpened, but he use...

Re: Spyderco Knock-offs, "Replicas"and Fakes

Been a long time since I've posted, but I spend about an hour a day reporting sellers offering knock-offs as the real thing. I'm sick of seeing people fall for it and pay real Spyderco prices. They have no idea that they've been duped, and Ebay never does anything about the sellers that I report. I ...

Acid Etched Spins

I don't know if this has been posted but there's a proliferation of knock off Acid-Etched Spins on Ebay. They sell for about $5 shipped from China and come in pretty authentic looking Spyderco boxes. I've reported multiple sellers selling them on Ebay but none have been taken down. Buyer beware.

I don't know how long the Karahawk has been in development, but around January or so I wrote like a five page essay to Sal about how he needs to release a new karambit with a wave. I told him Warren Thomas and Jason Brous were on board for design and emphasized that it would be a huge hit. So... if ...

I could have sworn that the Endura I had in 1994 was ATS-55 although I guess it could have been GIN-1??? I forget!

Calling Sal Glesser!

Hello sir! I've written you an (somewhat rambling, perhaps) e-mail with something that I think you should read!!! I'm very excited at the idea and without going into detail here, I beg that you please go through and consider what I've written. Thank you for your time and contributions to the knife w...

Old thread...

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but... I wonder why there's no love for the P'Kal? I think it's the reverse-edge method that scares people off... I personally wield my P'Kal edge out, since this is the way it deploys anyway, it's not only quicker, but more intuitive to my training. Not only that, ...

Sorry to revive an old post but I have an ATS-55 Pro-Venator (with rubber on the front scale and on the clip with a plain edge. It was purchased this way from a dealer maybe 10 years ago or so. I still have the box around somewhere. I'm pretty sure it's marked as a C13P. I have been looking for any ...

I would go so far as to say i can do more damage to someone with a ball point pen than you could with that little tiny blade. Come on now, you can't be serious... That's basically a folding La Griffe... If you could do more damage with a ball point pen, then you must have no combat training whatsoe...

Forgive me for being naive, but I don't see what practical application this design would have that a more conventional Spyde or even an auto would have. Anyone have any insight as to its POU, aside from the cool factor? The finger hole allows much control in both utility and self defense applicatio...

Hello Shao! Now we are talking :D ! Nice pic and nice gear. I really like that watch! Thanks! That watch is my current love interest.
