Re: dear Spyderco, will you ever bring back the catcherman?

Huh. I hadn't noticed until now that the USN Catcherman does not have a pocket clip.

I wish I could remember. I do recall that I bought, tried, and sold a few Spydercos including at least two Delicas before becoming hooked, and gradually realizing that almost all of my user rotation of folders had become Spydercos. It might have been the CF Caly 3. Looking back through old emails, i...

I love the Stretch but once I picked up a FFG FRN Endura about a year ago, the Stretch was off to the BOB. As others have said, I like the extra length and slim profile of the Endura. Now if there was such a thing as a FRN Police 3 (not holding breath), it would probably bump the Endura out in a sim...

Any Salt would be a great idea. I run with a E4W clipped in waistband. The VG-10 does just fine.

The Ruger LCP that rides right next to it does get some rust, though, especially on the mag release.

I'll be ordering the PE very soon. I've been looking forward to this one for a while. About 2 years ago, I bought a Pac Salt in SE and just never ended up carrying it. Ultimately, I sold it and my only other SE Spyderco, a D4. I'm sure the full SE cuts aggressively but for my varied EDC tasks, I jus...

My hat's off to you for being so fair, Jon. You're going to an awful lot of trouble but it's so much better than letting the sharks take over. Well done! Third that. This is one of the more labor intensive (for you) but absolutely fair forum knife buying experience to date. I'm amazed you're willin...

I prefer to mostly sell on Bladeforums as well. The $25 for the Gold Membership was well-spent, IMHO, and after only a few eBay fees you will be ahead on BF.

The angle, location, and exposure of the jimping corners would make it pretty easy to soften that out as you like. A few gentle rounds with some 1500 grit wet/dry paper is all it would take.

The blade isn't black. The screws aren't black. The clip should not be black. Cool mod! IMHO, the silver looks great with the blue. Here's my old D4 with a sanded clip: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v399/tradja/Delica%204/IMGP4339.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v399/tradja/Delica%204/IMGP...

After reading about Military awesomeness for so many years, I am THRILLED to finally get in on it with my LH Millie. When it arrived, I opened the box, opened, closed, and handled the knife a few times, then smiled and said "Oh, now I get it". My wife laughed because I actually said it out...

I love the Endura. Can't wait for the FFG! :spyder:

I am humbled and awed by these Endura collections. Since it's cumulative, here's mine:

Pacific Salt Yellow SE
E4W PE
E4 Foliage CE

This makes 297?

I don't mind the shallow choil. I was trying to sell a Kraton/SS Stretch for a friend and after handling the ugly little thing for days and turning down lowball offers, I just had to keep it. It REALLY grew on me. When the Stretch 2 variants came out, I got both ZDPs. To my surprise, I kept the FRN ...

I am dying to get my hands on an orange PE Ladybug 3. I have a feeling these are long gone just about everywhere as I can't seem to find them in stock where I have looked. Anybody know of any online stores still carrying them? I picked ours up on the auction site about a month and a half ago. I'd b...

Good score! Right place, right time. Funny that it was too steep for the $10 bidder.

For $5, I gotta ask: is it a real Spyderco or a SpyderFaux?

Congratulations on your new Millie! I'm a few weeks into my first one (LH). Strange but true: as they say, the Millie only seems big at first. It's not so much that my other knives seem small now, it's just that they seem to run out of blade.

Ordered one last night before they are gone. The ol' 440C black Meerkat is my wife's favorite knife. She'd be bummed if this Sprint sold out before we got one. Looking forward to the FFG VG-10 and cool blue scales!

FWIW, I spent some time running the scales of my LH Millie over some 1500 wet/dry in the sink tonight. It got very smooth, very fast. It still felt grippy when wet, but when I dried it off it was remarkably smooth. Instead of a surface with a raised grid, it is now more like a flat surface with dimp...
