Re: Re-release of the Spyderco Story book?

Am I remembering incorrectly, or did Sal say somebody was working on a new book?

Edit: found it

Re: Damascus Chaparral

As far as I know the 40th anniversary native is the only one to use Damasteel. I'm really itching for some larger production models in the steel. Just to be clear, Damasteel (the company) makes both Damascus pattern steel and regular, non-patterned steel. So Damasteel (as a brand) has been used in ...

Re: Damascus Chaparral

Damasteel for sure. Has Spyderco ever even used Damasteel? Seems odd if they haven't. Stonewashed and Polished ti with Damasteel blade would be a win. Or polished black micarta/g10 with Damasteel would also be nice. Edit: they did use RWL 34 made by Damasteel. The 40th Anniversary Native also used ...

Good to know. Thanks.

I just checked River’s Edge Cutlery and all 16 Z-Cut models are indeed in stock.

I’ll update later as delivered in August.
And thank you for maintaining the list. It's a great resource.

I'm II.

Does anyone have a box with their join month/year on it?

Probably, we probably joined because we bought one. I don't know if I'd still have it.
I went through mine today to see and have some from the right year, but not the right month.

Re: Spyderco App enhancements

And I don't know where the rights for The Spyderco Story reside, but since it's out of print and not likely to come back, it would be cool if the models that are covered in that book had the info ported over to the app. So, for instance, if I go to the Delica page on the app, I could access the chap...

Re: Spyderco App enhancements

I would prefer the app to *not* be a point of sale. I'd rather have it be a sort of ultimate Spydiewiki in app form, with information on all the models, their variants, release dates, prices, pictures, etc. There are enough other things out there trying to constantly sell me stuff that I don't need ...

Thanks for sharing. I had often wondered how the patterns and pictures in some Damascus were made. Now I have a much clearer idea.

I like the Junior and always thought it would be a good Super Blue (solid, not laminated) sprint run candidate.
