I am not concerned that the lock will fail but that the liner will travel to the other side by using it here and then.

Nice pics!! I love the SS Cricket, too. Great little knife! :cool:

One question: Where is the "normal" liner position when opened? My liner is at 2/3 on a new knife and that concerns me a little bit because I think it is already very "close to the end".

I am sorry but I realized that I have done a mistake in my translation (I am from Germany). I thought that "alloy" is a short word for aluminium. Now everything makes sense to me. Thank you very much for your help! :)

Do you use it a lot and do did you get any problems with vertical blade play because of that? Like I said in my first post, I think an alloy lock might wear off very fast. What is/are your impression(s)?

Is the handle made from alloy or steel? Spyderco´s hp says alloy but many german shops say steel...I am confused. :confused:

Alloy would make it more lightweight but would also wear faster (the integral lock!!). What is your opinion/experience?
