Are there any websites which provide pictures and commentary as this show progresses? Or, do we have to wait for someone to write a report a bit later?

The heft of stainless probably works to its disadvantage but, for some reason I often prefer the metal handle, with Ti probably being the ideal metal handle due to its lighter weight. The SS Spydies often seem a tad bit more refined to operate and handle, and even to admire. And, with metal I have ...

Congrats on that Kris. My experiences and thoughts with this knife closely parallel yours - as well as my opinion of the "R2" and "Stretch" which are simply great knives for EDC. The "Stretch" sets a benchmark for operating ease.

A little "Prolink", "Rock & Roll", or other good quality bicycle ...

Well done d.g.g. Its a beautiful knife. I don't think a day goes by that I don't pick up mine to handle and operate whether I am carrying it that day or not. There is just a simplistic ease about handling it that seems to elude so many others.

Enjoy that knife, you deserve it.

Indeed, that's a fine and healthy collection you have amassed. Not a bad one in the bunch. Very, very nice. Those customs you have look stunning too.

I have one and, its a great little knife - a nice ergonomic feel - super sharp blade, etc., however I prefer the fit, feel and function of the larger Spydies (most of them anyway). Just a matter of preference. One thing I like about most all Spydercos though, is that they exude character and ...

The lamps are standard spiral fluorescent (26W). I would assume they are readily available at any building supply house. Here is the link to the description. You might want to think about building one. It doesn't look difficult. A simple frame of some type, a couple fluorescent lamps, a white sheet ...

Picking up a bit of shadow is a good idea and, thanks for the advice. Here is a picture of the light box. The kit comes with a couple drapes which clip on inside the box when needed. I also put a wooden brief case inside. I will try this box with, and without lights tomorrow. They had larger sizes ...

thought I would post a few practice shots. Balancing the light for different composures takes some patience. Its been fun tho. I am using a Sony DSC-P200 point & shoot but, now wish I had a DSLR to gain more versatility and control.

I thought I would post a practice shot.

Now will someone tell me why, when I load multiple photos, that it balloons the photos requiring one to scroll to see the entire picture. When I only post one photo, as I am doing now, it nicely fills the screen without over filling. Should I cut the file ...

I thought I would post a few of my practice shots. I am using a Sony DSC-P200 point and shoot camera. I wish I had purchased a DSLR to get more control and macro versatility. Maybe there will be one in the future. Adjusting the lights for even balance with different composure takes some patience ...
