ITs too small to be useful really, and if you SE'd the edge, you'd get one or two gullets and three points.

I bought six of them, thinking they would be big enough to engrave my business card onto, (yeah, A reduced version but still a reasonably readable version was the goal, but its too small ...

Tip up may be cool till you reach into your pocket one day and the blade is 15% or so open and your first warning is a massive slice in your finger. there is no way a tip up is any faster than a tip down once you figure the sequence out.

I would prefer that would by me about 8 knives, then I would be set for life and have a few for my kids to inherit, I am getting tired of all the latest Spydie's seeming to run $140 to $240. I know costs have gone up, but endura's ...

OK picture this, reach into your pocket and be greeted by a razor sharp point and shaving sharp edge running into your thumb web and fingers.

yeah tip down is the way to go. People who say the above doesn't happen haven't carried a knife long enough.

I usually have a half dozen of so ladybugs in my briefcase that I have affixed a company logo on a leather leash. I hand these out as I encounter women in offices etc, who are using Keys, ball points etc, to open boxes, Once they see how easy it is to open a ladybug, and with the hole, they can use ...

In this era of TIGHT budgets, low amounts of discretionary incomes etc, how about a simple rendition of a Bob lum like blade with a simple but elegant leaf blade, simple (cheap and) elegant scales and a liner lock, something that will fall well under $70 bucks, and hopefully Under $50 or so.

I am a 50+ year old ...

Option one, MOVE. simple and easy, It really is a crappy place to live, high crime, corruption, and no legal guns. piss on it. I lived there, was offered a 6 figure salary to move back, I said, naw, life was too short to put up with BS that City has.

Option Two, ignore the law, everyone else does ...

S30V has a tendency to micro chip, because of the size of the carbides in the steel. When it it used for a while instead of a nice smooth sharp edge, you get in effect a micro spydie edge. some lilke it, I don't. I want the finest grain I can get which keeps its edge. That seems to be the best ...

I used to not have a preference tip up or down until I cut my hand pretty bad with a vg-10 Mcusta while I was shopping at Dillards. The point of the blade is just slightly behind the liners and I was reaching into my pocket to get my keys out. Its a tip up design and it was in my left pocket, blade ...

I still don't get it, and I use knives every day at work, and am open to something that would work, but I handled one and frankly i would not take it if given it.
