Fantastic pictues and story! Thank-you for sharing! I am still after a 2004 model (Manix!) but I'd sure like one of those waved Enduras as well! And buy does the g-10 byrd line-up look good. As do the black Polywog and Dialex's futuristic Adventura! The black sure sets it off nicely.

A note on ...

Thanks for posting the pics!

I love the clip point on this knife and it seems to be, overall, a lot of knife for the size.

With the Lansky set-up, are you using the oil? I recommend using it for sure. Also, have a rag on hand to clean the stone often. Those little stones will clog up relatively quickly, especially when doing heavy reprofiling.

I have 2 tips for you. First, If you do not have a coarse bench stone fo ...

Thanks for the warm wishes guys!

My b-day was a good one, for sure. I'm going to Vegas baby! :) My wife and I are going to Vegas in February with another couple for some fun. This will be my first time there. AND I get to meet up with a good 'ol knife nut (known to many as Bastid). He has a dusty ...

Thanks Spyderco for the B-day Present!

Well today (January 24th) is my birthday. A few days ago the Spyderco catalogue I ordered arrived! I consider that to be one of my prized birthday prezzies. Thanks Spyderco!

I'd love a Manix and an Endura 4 and a Sprint Run Jess Horn (foudn out about that online). Maybe if I am industrious this ...

I like cord wraps over colored titanium :) I made a knife for a polcie officer with that style and you get a nice light handle that is grippy and looks great! Thanks Neil Blackwood for the idea.

I also really love Micarta. Moreso than G-10. Micarta is very strong, but has more character to me than ...

Thank-you for the contest!

I am most thankful for my wife, who is as supportive as she is gorgeous! We've had a real strange year in 2005 and I'm so happy I got to spend it with Lyndsey.

Also, it is appropriate for me to be thankful for her as this contest was started on her birthday! I suppose ...

Thank-you very much for the warm reception!

It is nice to see some familiar faces here, and some folks I will get to become friends with. This is the first time I've been a member of the Spyderco forum, though I have been a regular at Bladeforums since 1999.

I will definitely take a pic or two of ...

The Manix is the knife I want most of all right now!

Among the other things I carry, my full sized knife is a Buck/Strider tanto in plain edge. I held a Manix for the first time 2 months ago, and the Manix was definitely lighter as compared to the Buck!

I too prefer a larger knife for the most ...

Intorduction from me! (An old friend to some)

Hello friendly SPyderco forumites! My name is Karl Rejman, though some of you may know me as Crayola or Cray for short. I am a knife nut and have been a lurker on this forum for some time. My lurking was on an off for years, but the last few months it has been constant. I wanted to join once I had ...
