Re: The Stretch 2XL "Experiment"
I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the PD1 Stretch 2XL. I can pinch the two handles together if the knife is open. I can't do that with the LW Goddard, Pac Salt 1, or Endura 3. It's *probably* up to the task of being an EDC knife, but I'm not going to carry one. The PD1 colorway is great, and I wanted ...

Re: Endura Handle Switch?
Is this doable or a waste of effort that could ruin both handles?
I have a current Endura 4 and an older Second Generation Endura. I like both but I prefer the Endura 4 blade but not the handle. I prefer the original Endura handles.
And so, how difficult would it be to have someone remove the ...

Re: Stretch 2 XL LW PD#1: Love or Infatuation?
This knife made me realize that I don't like a ginormous thumb ramp on something with a choil. I sometimes want to lay my thumb further up on the spine than the thumb ramp makes practical. I think I need to investigate a Native Chief LW.

Re: stripped clip screws Delica
If it turns out the holes in the liner are a bit reamed out, you could disassemble the knife and flip flop the liners so the reamed out side is on the other side of the knife from your clip side.

Re: Purchasing Discontinued Models - Advice Wanted
I absolutely LOVE my St. Nick's Goddard and it's my primary EDC. I don't have any lock rock issues my knife, and I have a NIB backup tucked away in a closet in case I lose the one I carry. Would I pay over retail for one? No way.

Here's a side by side comparison of Spyderco purple vs the sprint run "burgundy." As has been noted, they're very close.

Looks like Cutlery Shoppe still has a few left. Maybe snag a couple before they're gone gone.

The Wave, for me, is one of those things that sounds better than it actually ended up being for me. My Wave Delica just sits in the drawer.

Bumping an old thread but I just noticed that several reputable online sites have it listed as a preorder. Does that mean that I can expect it actually return? I thought the P'Kal was long discontinued

Has the Stretch 2 XL been released yet? I really want that flavor.
That's the one I want, too. Every time I see there are new posts in this thread, I get excited thinking that they've dropped.
Same here. I've been waiting for a Stretch 2XL LW in something besides VG-10, and I dig this ...

It should be fine, and I have no hesitations about using a coated blade to cut up some food. Bradford Knives sells Cerakoted Chef's and Paring knives even.
