Re: Folders for food prep?

Blade geometry from Spyderco folders (which are more or less tactical) are diametrically opposed to my food preparations. And why should I make my live more complicated than needed, when I use a folder instead of a fixed blade, when it comes also to cleaning after food preparation? To each his own, ...

Re: Delica point styles

Generally all Delica and Endura 4 feature that "drop", not only the ffg, but also the sg versions. I like that in the ffg, would not need it in sg. In German forums this tip-type is well known under the name "Deppenspitze" :D , in my eyes it is to reduce broken tips caused by wrong use and not beca...

Re: victorinox ranger grip

so, does the blade hump get in the way when using the saw? i don’t use the saw too often, but i feel it’s a valuable enough tool to have that i don’t buy a sak without one. when i use it, i don’t want to have unnecessary hot spots. The blade hump makes the use of the saw uncomfortable, unfortunatel...

Looks really nice! I have zero use for a bag like this but if they ever do a regular backpack or rucksack then I would be in.
Same here and as European I also hope for future offers available with dealers and not only at SFO.

I'm a bit late Paul but hopefully just in time for best wishes to your birthday! You lost Bear, that are sad news and it hurts my dear friend. I know about such feelings as my dog Aaya passed away 4 years ago.

I want to try out the lanyard game on my dragonflies and ladybugs. Most lanyards appear to be for pulling the knife from the pocket, a wrist loop, or bling factor.
That's the question: fob or lanyard ... Image

Re: Why don't you have more spyderco fixed blades?

A fixed knife is more workhorse than a folder, at least for me. Therefore the useless (trademark) hole in the blade on all new fixed knives from Spyderco is my personal main reason against fixed knives from them. Last time I checked their portfolio I felt their prices are on upper end of the range o...

Very unlikely, an original C07STI Ti-Police should have ATS-34 blade that's best of my knowledge. But it is Spyderco and you never know ...

Re: 2020 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

Foto was taken during a 3-days-camp trip this summer. The whittling of my first wooden spoon has taken about 4 hours, I guess this is not very fast but good work needs some time. ;) The knife is my often used FB26PWD Bushcraft and meanwhile it is, with its selftuned sheath, just as unique as the spo...
