Dear JD,
We've never seen each other, let alone met, yet we've shared a bond for many years. That's why your illness touches me so deeply. I can't give you advice, as I come from a completely different professional field, but I can offer you my support in thoughts and prayers. You don't have to say ...

Yes, also for me, in some cases the loading times are so slow that I have already stopped several times. But what is even more annoying is that I have to log in repeatedly, even though I have not logged out.

Re: Para 3 LW 15V - 3 disappointments, or unrealistic expectations?
A completely different thought:
Wouldn't it be better if the Spyderco catalogs and website also included pictures of imperfect models? That would give you an idea of what you're getting for your money after you've bought it. Not just perfect views of knives that were perhaps chosen specifically ...

Your question surprises me a lot, as you are a specialist in the Police model range. Apart from the details that can be seen in the pictures provided in the offer, you may not have read the offer text, which clearly states that this knife is made in China. It must not have been your best day, Yab

Yep, mobiletomek asked on both forums … sometimes it‘s not easy to be helpful.

It is undoubtedly a legal civilian ATS-55, you don't have to worry about it anymore. It's a nice piece of Spydercos history.

Quite right and at the same time it has a special feature, because it is the only Native 1 with a completely flat blade and is therefore somehow the "non missing" link to the Native 5.RadioactiveSpyder wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 12:35 pmThe purple forum Native is technically a Native 1 not a Native 4.

Yes, it is very sad to have to say goodbye to a dear friend again. We got to know each other through the forum and over time it became more. I once said to Paul that I thought it was a shame that we weren't neighbors and couldn't just chat over the fence in the evenings... unfortunately ...

Re: Anyone like salads
I'm a big fan of salads, to the point that my main meal consists of a large bowl of salad with bread at least four times a week. I add carrots, corn, a little grated cheese (but not too much), beetroot, beans (various types) to my salads (various types). "A day without salad is a wasted day."

Re: Recommendations for a European traditionalist
In my limited experience Austrians like the endura and chaparral.
I seriously wonder what the background of this statement is and what distinguishes Austrian preferences for pocket knives from other nations? Maybe I'm a little too superficial, because after almost 20 years here in the forums ...

Someday I will try starting from seed indoors but first I have to find the time and do some research…it must be very satisfying 👏👏👏
Oh yes, it really is. Especially if you even make it with your own seeds from last harvest.
Now to your thoughts that are causing you slight concern: My dear ...

Now for the bad… the lock is horrible…. Always has been its heavy and causes excess friction both opening and closing, with multiple detents.
I can agree with you, because also with my copy it is an extremely stiff and scratchy linerlock. You don't read much about cricket in aluminum ...

Could be a blessing in disguise. Chances are if you're on this forum, you've already got more than enough knives in your collection to keep you busy/happy as it is...you just don't know it yet. Based on the poll that was going around a couple weeks ago, the amount of people scooping up 15+ knives ...
