If it was a cheap knife. The knife...if I can say this here...is a Cold Steel, Recon Tanto. Not a cheap knife. The edge is in good condition and doesn't appear to have been sharpened. The edge would pop hair but not to my standards...thus the reason I am sharpening it.

Spyderco Sharpener
I bought a Spyderco Sharpener off of E-Bay a couple of years ago. I love the sharpener design and how easy it is to sharpen a knife. My problem is I don't think mine is working correctly. I always seem to have one side that doesn't get sharpened. By that I mean I mark both edges with a black marker ...

Update
Ront looked at the knife this morning and found the #452 on the blade so I'm guessing this is either a run number or a member number. I'm leaning towards a run number. Any ideas?

Thanks

Bill Moran Knife Question
I just bought this Bill Moran knife off of E-bay and I would like to get some information about it. RonT told me that it was an early model because of the leather sheath. Does anyone know anything about the #452 on the sheath? Thanks for all your input.

Remember When.....
It is funny how many of these "Remember When" threads there are. I belong to a Cruise forum and they had this same type of thread. It went on for pages upon pages. :) :) :) :)

My Take on the Spin and C4
Well my time with these two knives from the Blade Forum passaround is coming to an end. I will place them in the mail tomorrow to the next tester.
I didn't put them through a lot of tests but Ron and I did fend off a few cardboard boxes over the last two weeks. We wonder what the people are ...

Day 2, 3, 4
Not much to report for days 2 and 3. I carried it with me but didn't use it much. I did get the chance to weld it around a bit yesterday here at work and put it through some paces.

My Passaround View of the Lava
As Ron stated above, I'm in possession of a Lava for a week of testing. I'm going to post my bladeforums review here for you as well. I hope you enjoy it. Ron...you could've at least cleaned the lint off the blade before you snapped the pictures.....

Well I told Ron that it wasn't fair to all of you for me to compete in this contest since I know all of the answers. So I will just read your guesses :( :( :( Besides I hear him everyday on the otherside of the filecabinets flicking his :spyder: or cleaning his :spyder: or the one I don't understand ...

Well I gave my Pacific Salt and the Clip-It to my son-in-law for Christmas.. :( :( He loved them both. He wore the Clip-It several times on his belt loop when we went out. He made the comment that these were his first really nice knives. He also made the statement..."I love these Spyderco knives ...
