Lately I've been carrying a Fenix P2D flashlight, Leatherman Kick, Blackberry, UniBall JetStream pen and a Field Notes notebook. The Tasman Salt has been on my pocket the last couple of days.

I work in schools, though not employed directly by the local school boards. I tend to carry small to medium sized knives - Delica, Tasman, Paramilitary, 93mm Rescue, D'Allara Rescue, etc - as I am often around teachers and librarians and they don't usually see a lot of sharp pointy things during the...

Tex,
Good to see you've come around to accepting the Dodo. It really is a great little knife for so many handy cutting tasks.

I got mine when I found out they were going to be disco'd. One of my better impulse purchases.... :D

I got a note from Raven - what a great surprise. My excuse... in a nutshell: "Gainfully unemployed" for a few months, but amazingly we're doing great - by no feat of our own! Just had another baby boy, our third. Taking some courses for a 'second career'... I've been reducing the risk to s...

I play drums and can fake it well enough to fool some people on the bass guitar.

I've got a nice 5-piece DW kit, an old white Ludwig jazz kit (with 18" kick), and a Roland electronic kit. I find I'm playing the Roland kit more now that there are kids in the house, plus - it's easier on my head.

I drive a big orange Land Rover, with a big roof rack and 4 big lights on the front of it. If that's not a bit conspicuous, I'm not sure what is. It's easy to spot on the road, in the woods, and in a parking lot. A couple of little off-road club stickers on the rear side windows aren't going to matt...

Either / Or:
I've got an older CMG Infinity Ultra that bumps around in the bottom of my pocket. Not overly bright, but that's good for checking in on the kids at night. It has decent run time on single AA's. When I'm planning on being out for the evening / night I carry a Fenix P2D.

Where's CKE??

Has anyone heard from or seen CKE lately? I had a neat little fixed blade made up by him a couple of years ago and I wouldn't mind another sort of like it. I hope there is a good reason for him being away, as opposed to a bad (unhealthy) reason. He last signed in in March, it looks like. Can't find ...

I'm using #2 on the trimmer. Nice and short and tidy. Simple and straightforward to care for, too.

I have a bald spot on the top of my head and have to watch the sunburn, but other than that it's fine.

Nice stitch-work there... All sewn up like a ragdoll! :D I expected to hear about being able to grip a gun or handlebars pretty quickly. Didn't I post something in the first thread about not being down for long? Great news that the PT is going well. Hopefully no major set-backs, but don't be surpris...

Raven may be slowed down a little bit, but I think if we look at his past history, it will take much more than an injured hand to keep him out of commission for any length of time. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - right?

Get better soon, bro! I've been praying for your speedy recovery.
