D4...Bought it/sold it
Well, I went ahead and bought the Delica 4 over the internet. I was very impressed with this knife...EXCEPT..for the tip. Call me crazy, but I feel like Spyderco overcompensated for the 'delicate' tip of the Delica 3 and just made the tip on the D4 too blunt. I just don't think you need to sacrifice...

Looking for a decent small sharpening stone
Hi All,
I'm interested in a general purpose sharpening stone that I can throw in a backpack and will give me a good edge on my large folder when I'm out camping/hiking. Nothing too big or expensive. Suggestions?
Thanks!
Native :)

Will Spyderco repair horizontal play?
Hi All,
My FRN Native has a little horizontal play. I'm surprised, as this knife has not been used very much.
Will Spyderco adjust it for me under the warranty?
Native

Yojimbo vs. Persian for MBC/self defense?
Hi All,
Given the choice beween these two, which would you rather have in a self-defense situation?
Any thoughts are welcome!

I prefer the Native I over the III because the wire clip on the III prevents my index finger from making full contact with the handle (finger is suspended in air where it meets the clip. On the Native I, The curved portion of the clip allows my finger to be flush with the handle...making a more secu...

Hi All,
What are your opinions about these two heavy-duty spydercos? What are the merits of each regarding self-defense/MBC applications?
Thanks!

Mini Manix vs. Para Mil. Hmmmm...
Hi All!...1st post. Right now I'm trying to decide between the Mini Manix and the Para Military. It would be for occasional jeans-carry for colder days (no shorts) and outdoor activities (camping, hiking). Self-defense, if needed, is also a remote possibility. It will serve as a more heavy-duty alte...
