there was also a movie with steven seagal and kurt russell that had a civilian in it. i can't remember the name of the movie but they were on a airplane.

i'm torn between my large wegner and large micarta calypso.

i think that everyone should own a civilian. although mine does not get much use , it's just a nice piece. if your looking for a everyday carry i would look at a wegner or a starmate.

your going to love the calypso. one of my favorite knives.

does anyone know when it is coming out?

i've been using rem oil on my spydies for about 8 years now. i'm not sure if this is the "correct" lubricant to use but i've never had a problem yet. my knives are all in exc. shape. hope this helps.

spyderco maeks the pro grip model with a metal clip overlayed with a type of rubber called kraton. i have been puttting these on almost all of my spyderco's. it has kraton on both sides of the clip. works for me.

i have a stainless handle harpy and it is about 6 years old. the blade when locked up has a nice wiggle to it from side to side. is this something that will be covered?

thanks blades, i just sent them a email. hopefully they will have 1

i used the scotch brite to get out all the scratches on my harpy. then hit it lightly with some jewelers rouge on my bench grinder with a buffing wheel and got a nice mirror polish. looks better now then the first day i bought it.

i've been looking for this model for quite sometime now with no luck. i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. thanks
