That is another question I had as far as Spyderco policy goes, Teddy. If someone mistakenly purchases a fake Spyderco, and sends the actual knife to Spyderco for verification, will they return it to the person, since they did pay for it, or, will they keep it and/or destroy it?
I though I'd read ...

Re: Spyderco Endura 4 (wave) Clone
Sure. He could send it in along with $5 for return shipping. Only thing is, I'm pretty sure if it's a fake Spyderco won't return it.SpyderEdgeForever wrote:If Fathis sends it to Spyderco headquarters could they use their equipment and expertise to determine if it is a fake or not? It may be worth it to you to send it in.

One minor point. Glad you got the clip off, but if a coin worked, the knife is not a Native 4. If it's FRN, then it's either an original Native Lightweight (flat steel clip) or a Native III (wire clip). If it's all stainless, its a Native 2. All of those used the barrel bolt fastener. The Native 4 ...

I'd be more surprised if the "rolling blackouts" situation in Japan has not slowed down production of knives to some extent than if it has. However, in the case of the G-10 Dragonfly, it could also just be that the next batch is on schedule but that demand exceeded Spyderco's expectations when the ...

Most places measure blade length as a straight line between the most forward point on the handle and the tip of the blade (as in DemskeetSkeet's photo), not just the sharpened edge. That's one of the reasons Spyderco lists two measurements, blade length and cutting edge length. By either measurement ...

Come on guys, most of us are fortunate enough to have two hands. All the more reason to purchase a knife that can be opened and closed equally well with either. I find it incredible that so many right handed people are so short sighted as to assume they will never need to use their other hand to ...

The blade is 0.120" thick and doesn't taper towards the tip. With the saber grind it gives the feel of a very solid blade. The inlaid steel liners in the typically comfortable FRN grips only add to that feeling of solidity. The jimped top choil and smooth bottom choil give it a very nice feel in my ...

Might just be coincidence but 9 out of my top 10 Spyderco models have 50/50 choils and the other one is a fixed blade. :D But I will also say that not all 50/50 choils work for me. The Manix is one that doesn't, the R2 is another. I attribute that to the finger divider in the grip area, not to the ...

Thing is, cancer is huge, so there's plenty of money to be made if even one specific kind could be conquered. Even though I wish it were otherwise, I can understand the logic behind pharmaceutical companies not wanting to invest in research for a disease only a small number of people will ever get ...
