Pacific Salt

I enjoy using my Shun Santoku and Henkels chef knives in the kitchen, but while camping my Pacific Salt does food prep because it's length handles most food prep duties and I can hose it off, soak in water, swish in lake or pretty much any cleaning method without corrosion worry. When I go out for s...

Para 2 black blade

After carrying my Para 1 for several years now, I picked up a black-bladed Para 2 recently. This knife is an awesome redesign, it has the best fit, finish and design of any knife I've owned. I know people occasionally get knives with various small imperfections, etc, but after almost two weeks of ca...

Para and Para 2

I have carried the Para 1 for years as backup for self defense, and I just received my black-bladed Para 2 that is quickly dominating all my pocket time  I choose the Military line due to the awesome gripping shape and G10, which is more important to me than blade length. I also find the large...

I'd say 80-90% of all men carry some sort of bag in Metro NY (the vast majority blue collar) Mostly backpacks or messenger bags. Only girlie men walk around with everything stuck in their pockets, looks like the brothers got tumors growing on their bodies. get a bag gents, makes a man's life easier...

My first Para had vertical play and I almost lost all hope for the model after reading some posts here. I ordered a second one and have carried and used it extensively and it still has a rock-solid lockup with no play. I guess that means I have a 50% chance of getting a good one.

Good luck there GarageBoy, fight for your right.

Another reason I would never live outside the great state of Texas, I see other people carrying knives clipped to their pockets everywhere I go, the cops would be inundated trying to harrass all of us!

Does anyone have favorite techniques for removing light scratches from SS handles? I like SS on smaller knives -- makes them feel more substantial -- but even light EDC use invariably creates scratch marks. I would like to be able to repair them from time to time, as needed. wipe going with the gra...

I earned my business degree in finance last year, now I am a loan officer for a large finance company. Being the new guy on the team I have a billion things to learn, but they treat us good so I expect to stick around for awhile and build up my resume of experience. Pay so far is only average, but I...

What does 15 have to do w/ the D4?

This is just a mindless riddle I made about the Spyderco Delica 4, no prize except pride here :D

What do the numbers 15 and 13 have to do with a SS Delica 4?
What do the numbers 15 and 21 have to do with a frn Delica 4?

Who can figure it out?

That is some flawed logic there

I think I will stick with Sal's recomendation of 30 degrees :spyder:

I have been really impressed by alot of the Kershaw offerings; my first clipped pocket knife was a Kershaw and I put them up-close to (but never over  ) Spyderco.

I don't concentrate on one aspect, like all Delicas or all SE; instead I like to cover the variety of all knife styles and makes. I like to have the different innovations, like a waved knife, a DLC coated knife, an H1 knife, the ball lock, the compression lock, etc. It is fun when your collection th...

good place to pre-order?

With the popularity of many of the Spyderco sprint runs it is important to jump on them has soon as possible. I was wondering if anybody had a recommendation to where I could pre-order a CF Caly 3 or pink Delica.
