My first Para had vertical play and I almost lost all hope for the model after reading some posts here. I ordered a second one and have carried and used it extensively and it still has a rock-solid lockup with no play. I guess that means I have a 50% chance of getting a good one.

Another reason I would never live outside the great state of Texas, I see other people carrying knives clipped to their pockets everywhere I go, the cops would be inundated trying to harrass all of us!

Does anyone have favorite techniques for removing light scratches from SS handles?

I like SS on smaller knives -- makes them feel more substantial -- but even light EDC use invariably creates scratch marks. I would like to be able to repair them from time to time, as needed.

I have been really impressed by alot of the Kershaw offerings; my first clipped pocket knife was a Kershaw and I put them up-close to (but never over :cool: ) Spyderco.

I don't concentrate on one aspect, like all Delicas or all SE; instead I like to cover the variety of all knife styles and makes. I'm assuming that the clip bolt is aluminum on all of the knives, at least that is what it feels like to me.

The price is too high, but if what he says is true that really is a neat piece of history. I would pay a couple hundred for it because of its significance, but nothing even touching three grand.

With the popularity of many of the Spyderco sprint runs it is important to jump on them has soon as possible. I was wondering if anybody had a recommendation to where I could pre-order a CF Caly 3 or pink Delica.
