Dyad is $178.95 on preorder at Knife center. I have already ordered it. I would be a liar and hypocrite if I did not. I have a original C44 and have been begging for a second release for years. Maybe there will be plenty of left overs. If you really want one, I would get on the list now. I plan to c...

Sometimes they last until you lose them. I still have all but one of my old Spyderco's. Most of the time i get bored with a knife and move on to a newer design. I have never sharpened away a blade though, and have never been close. The longest i have carried a knife. - I carried a Delica-3 for about...

Yes, it was on the Discontinued Products List last December. Thanks, also are all g10 versions discontined? Any current production of full flat grind UKPK's? Any word of the FRN models going FFG? Seems like there are a lot of titanium models left on the online stores. Quess the price scared people ...

UKPK carbon fiber question
Has the UKPK carbon fiber been discontinued? The online catalog does not say discontinued but also does not have a "add to cart" button.
Looked at a few popular retailers and found nothing.
Thanks

One thing that I don't remember a thread on was a small quality concern with the Caly 3 at the end of the production of the G10 model. Someone , Japan, Spyderco, or maybe a dealer put some kind of RP (rust preventative) or oil on the knife that stained the G10. The last Caly 3 I ordered had this sta...

Round hole and stud the best opener
Obviously all of us are biased towards the round hole opener on this thread. What I was wanting to get an opinion on was Auto opener/switch blade (SB) vs other manual opening (stud, hole, Wave, spring assist, ect). If all opening designs were legal, would you choose a SB or the manual opener. Beside...

Some folks want an ultra lightweight knife, and unlined FRN is still the easiest way to achieve that. The G-10 and CF versions of the Caly 3 are both 1.1 oz heavier than the FRN Calypso Jr. If you're looking for a minimal weight Caly 3/3.5 without the cost of molds, I wonder if a Caly/UKPK hybrid u...

This is like my dream knife so sorry if I sound over-enthused. I do like the Delica4, but I think the Caly 3/3.5 has better ergos, looks, and most importantly, the ultra-deep carry wire clip. Because of the clip, a Caly Jr. sprint wouldn't interest me. However, a locking UKPK (USPK?) would fit the ...

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Received a new para 2 tonight. Pleased to say that the action is much improved over my first version of this model. I know my first p2 was a very early version due to the fact i pre ordered it several months before they came out, and it had only Sal's sig on the...

paramilitary 2 refinements
Have there been any refinements or tweeks to the para-2 lock since the introduction of this knife. Some, I admit I was one, said that the lock was hard to disengage. I suggested extending the unlocking tab wider and closer to the open blade. This would allow more leverage on the lock and less pressu...

Call SFO, this is the easiest way IMHO. 1(800)525-7770 ext 107 The prices are real reasonable for the clip kits. Tell them you want a polished replacement clip for you Endura. You do know the Generation,E2,E3,or E4?? The E4 (endura 4) white sprint had a polished clip with the lanyard hole. Not only ...
