Re: C22 Walker/Klotzli Genome Project
Hey, Jrs1979. Thanks for contributing! Any chance you can post pics of the back and front? If not, can you tell us a few more details?
#1 Does it have the word "Klotzli" engraved on the blade along with Spyderco and Walker?
#2 Is the Spyderco bug engraved on the clip?
#3 Is the clip engraving right ...

Re: I have a new C22cf #732
Howdy, Jrs1979.
There is a thread going on the C22CF to document all the variations of that rare knife. I don't think #732 has been documented yet. It would be great to get the vitals on it. If you are interested, you can search the site for the word "genome" and the thread should pop up.

Left hand, aluminum and plainedge?!?! Very nice. Looks in awesome condition, too. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Nothing Like the Old Days
Fabulous knives.
Like SpyderEdge, the old days for me were also only Zytel clips and stainless choices. And then the mind was blown when the C15 Bob-T came out, and the knife world (and the Spyderco catalog) was never the same. I still think there is a market for Zytel clips--they don't scratch ...

Re: C22 Walker/Klotzli Genome Project
Thanks, Sal. I might just take you up on that. All that had to come together to make this one production knife is probably nothing short of amazing. Lightning in a bottle, as they say. I think it would make a great story.

And this seems like a fine opportunity for me to whine again for a C22 Walker with titanium scales and Super Blue.

Re: C22 Walker/Klotzli Genome Project
Interesting variant just popped up on ebay. It is the very first time I have run across a version that has no number on the blade. Additionally, it appears that the "engraving" on the blade isn't engraving at all--more of the "printed" style that reminds me of what was used on some Militaries. I ...

Re: Next Sprint Run target??
I'll beg again for an orange peel titanium (like on the ATS-34 Police) and Super Blue C22 Walker, with a single mount clip as on the CF/ZDP run. I don't care what it costs. Take. My. Money.
Sal has also occasionally teased another sprint Walker over the years, so I wait patiently like a good boy...
