Hi all, There was a request and a thread on our making a Jester Sprint run. There were requests for a handle other than FRN. My thoughts were to make the scales from G-10. I just picked up one NIB and the lock is nice and solid. I think it's the sharpest Spyderco that I've ever recieved from the factory. It even surprised me. And I love my full flat grind Spydercos. Kudos to all invloved, designer, company and factory. And example of international excellence.

I just opened mine tonight. Unreal. Probably the finest Spyderco I've ever seen.

The Lil' Temp is still one of my top three EDC folders. I got one as soon as it was released and have carried it since. I love it. I'd go for a sprint run or a redesign. I'm sure I'd pick a couple up like I did the original Lil' Temp. An all around awesome design.

Definitely. Thankfully it's not a worry where I live but I always carry a legal blade length when traveling out of state.

My choices would be...

Folder : Chinook 3 (3" or under: Lil' Temperence)
Fixed : Warrior

But .. there of plenty of other awesome blades in their inventory (past & present) that are GREAT self defense pieces.

Thanks for the heads up. No worries here. I hope Spyderco takes it time. This piece has the potential to be one of the masterpieces of their line. I can't wait to thumb this sucker open the first time...

After owning one of the original designs for years and handling one of the new designs for a few weeks, I prefer the original. So far.

Santa didn't get me anything ... but my faithful dog that I rescued from the pound picked me up a Spyderco Superhawk & a FFG G-10 Endura. Thankfully my wife was nice enough to wrap them for him. :D

I saw a sketch in Michael's office, but you didn't hear that from me. ;) sal I will most certainly purchase this immediately upon release. I just hope it has a FFG and G-10 handles. I just picked one up this week. Awesome design + Awesome manufacturing = one fine blade. Well worth the money. I'll be EDC'ing it over summer for sure. It carries light and flat in the pocket. I'd snag that immediately. One of the top three Spyderco's ever made IMHO. The finest with a 3" blade.

I'd settle for any handle material too. I'd rather have a G-10 handle but I would be happy with the same handle anodized a different color to keep engineering/tooling costs down. Any color is cool as long as it's fully serrated.

I have a fully serrated Massad Ayoob that I have carried since they were first released. I love it. Great design, very ergonomic, fully serrated blade cuts like a beast and it rides easily in the pocket. The only improvement I could see would be give the Ayoob handle the J.D. Smith Sprint Run treatm...

Four models that I regularly carry are:

1. Massad Ayoob. Fully serrated.
2. Police. old design full flat grind, G-10.
3. Lil' Temperance. "Rhino" blade plain edge.
4. Standard. Fully serrated, G-10.

All great designs.
