Congratulations Zac. I bought a large Micarta near the middle of last summer and have been edcing it ever since. The quality and worksmanship is beyond perfect.

Most Spydercos come from the factory at 30* inclusive. You can easily apply a micro bevel for increased edge strength by using the 40* setting.

It depends, or course, on the rarity or price of the knives in question. A readily available knife, like a Sebenza, might not be as stressful because you can get another one, but it does cost a lot more. I'm not really sure which I would be more stressed at. Saw it on BF. I LOVE the blade shape and the finish, in my opinion it looks as close to an alligator as you can get.
