curly maple
Here's one of my favorite designs. The blade is CPM 154 CM 3.75" long, 1/8" thick. Handle is 4 3/8" long with 416 stainless steel bolsters and curly maple scales. The curly maple has the coolest irredescent look to it when you move it back in forth in the light. Thanks for looking. -J...

recurve hunter
I know what you guys are thinking. "Another Recurve..." But I love 'em. This one is more of a Hunter design with a 3.5" CPM154CM blade 5/32" thick brought to a high polish with 4.5" burgundy micarta linen handles. I used three different size corby screws for a tapered effect...

combat recurve
This is my version of a "Combat Recurve" design. It is my second recurve I've done. Blade is 154CM 3 1/2" long with thumb grooves and false edge. Handle is black linen micarta 4 1/2" long with corby screws. I really like this knife. It has good balance and feels good in my hand. ...

stag hunter
This is my 9th or 10th knife I've completed. I'm starting to lose count, which is good. Anyway, this is the first time I've used stag for handles. It was easier than I thought. I lot less time to finish. The biggest challenge was finishing the pins. The more knives I make the more critical I become ...

Zac, I want to point out that there are several G10 auto models out there. Most of them made by Robbie Dalton. The ergonomics and designs of Daltons are tremendous. There are many Daltons with hollow grinds. In fact, most are hollow ground. Many models are also partly serrated. Finally Dalton is con...

small recurve part 2
I posted this knife last week but I hated the handles so I redid them in blasck canvas micarta with red liners. I like it much better. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/Barker01/recurveandsmallhunter028.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/Barker01/recurveandsmallhunter020.jpg http://i80....

small hunter
This is a nice like knife that I designed. The blade is ATS-34 3" long, 416 SS bolsters, and black ash burl handles. I also added some black liners. This one feels real good. Sorry for the poor pics quality. Thanks. -John http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/Barker01/recurveandsmallhunter013....

I think the problem with the scales is that they were added as an afterthought. The blade itself looks great, and i like the simplistic lanyard. I have the same type of lanyard on my kiwi. keep it up! The scallops were not really an afterthought, but more of a look that I was attempting. The attemp...

my small recurve design
This is my first attempt at a recurve design. It is also my first attempt at a false edge. Blade is right at 3" long made of 154 CM with satin finish. Handles are black/green G10 scalloped for better grip. Overall I think the grind if decent, but I'm not real wild about the handles. -Barker htt...
Bob already makes that knife as one of his custom designs. It's called the all rounder. It's not new. I ordered one a year ago from him in lefty. This is Bob's design and he has permission to use the hole.

2 of my newest creations
These are my 5th (top) and 6th (bottom) knives that I've made. The first one (top) one has a 3 1/4" two tone blade made of 154 CM with tan linen phenolic handles with corby screws. The second one is about 3 3/4" polished 154 CM blade with 416 stainless bolsters and pins with snakewood hand...
