That would be pretty out of character for Spyderco.

I broke one of my medium rods and have been trying to cope but it's just not the same without the full length. Someday I will buy a replacement.

That's much smaller than I thought it was. I suppose I didn't pay enough attention to that.

If you had to choose between the Aqua Salt and the Caspian Salt as your only purchase in the fixed blade line, which would you pick?

My guess: Caspian.

But tell me why, and is the Caspian any good for food prep in your experience?

I think the G10 has the greatest advantages. It could be made a lot thinner, have a wire clip, and easily have liners added to it aftermarket. If we could get a stretchII-thin Lava that was light and maybe a bit less expensive I would buy it in a minute.

I'm definitely in favor of the Navaja. I am living in Spain for a while now and purchased a Navaja at a great store here in Sevilla called Cucherilla Sevilla. Great shop owner, extremely friendly despite my Spanish. The Navaja has the advantage of a unique lock that knife knuts might appreciate. Tha...

From my memory it seems that Sprint runs are usually done at the makers the knives were originally tooled in. A completely new run in Golden with a different lock would take years of doing.

And most of us lowly consumers don't even HAVE them yet.
