So, do I get it right that you think that ATS-55 is better than AUS-8A? And btw some new Cold Steel blades are AUS-10A (like these triple folders.

And one more thing:most Cold Steel and Spyderco blades are in the same price range. Like Gunsite and Vaquero Grande vs Police and Military; or Voyagers vs Endura and Delica etc.

Thank guys for all your replies. One other thing bothers me. In an information booklet I got with my Endura, it states that Spyderco knives designed only for cutting. But what about stabbing? I think it is important for any knife (with rear exceptions) to be used for piercing jobs too.
