I believe that knifeworks.com has them for around $59. On the left side of their webpage, look under "specials".

Besides Spyderco, I favor Benchmade knives. They use excellent materials and seem to really stand behind their products. Currently, I have the following Benchmades: AFCK (modified by Kevin Gentile), 770, and 940.

If I'm in the office, I carry a Benchmade 770. If I'm in the field wearing jeans, I carry a Spyderco Standard.

I have a Benchmade AFCK modified by Kevin Gentile that has been a real heavy duty performer.

I am interested in purchasing the small backpacker by G. Sakai, but I've never handled a sample. How does its quality compare to the rest of the Spyderco lineup? I'm looking for a more "traditional" pocketknife without the hole and clip. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
