Wow, I missed this by almost a year. Need to pay better attention I guess.

I was told at my local knife shop that Spyderco was releasing a smaller version this year.
I cannot wait! Size inline with the Lionsteel SR-2.

As I understand it FRN isn't an option at this time do to making molds and then bumping something else out of production. I am excited to see a blue G10 sprint though!

Honestly it sounds like you really need to send it back to Spyderco to get repaired. For aftermarket stuff you could try Custom Scale Division in Germany.

My most used knife. Delica4 that I dyed green, then black. Gave it to someone at work to use. He had it for over a year. When I got it a hold of it again the blade was dull, scratched up and stained, coated in black crud and was loose. the scales were smooth with crud too. And the clip was falling o...

If I buy a spydie it is because I want to check it out/use it. If I find I don't like it I sell or trade it at a USED price.
I really don't think I have ever "made money" on selling any of my knives. Lost? Yes. But I buy knives for the enjoyment of having/using the knife.

I bought one girlfriend (ex now) a white dragonfly that I dyed pink for her. As far as I know she still carries it in her purse.

I just recently got a Lum Tanto Folder in ATS-55. Haven't used it much but I love the knife. It was one of my most wanted.
