SS Spydie: Police or Endura

Hello,

I'm looking for a new Spyderco. It's going to be a SS model, so the Police and the Endura come to my mind. Sould I get the Police before it's replaced by the new one, or should I get the Endura? Clip positions and prize are rather unimportant.

Your input, please.

Thanks,
Thomas

Try the Delica first , tired of the other version sent to you awhile back ? MG2 No, that's not the point. I love that knife. But as you already know, it seems that the law for EDCing knives will be changed in Germany. Those knives won't be restricted, you just need good reasons for carrying them. W...

Caly3 vs. Delica G10

Hello,

I need a new EDC for the city. Just wanna know what knife is the best choice, Caly3 G10, CF, or the new G10 Delica. Or should I go with the FRN Delica and save some cash? Your advices, please.

Thanks,
Thomas

I don't like FG. Sold my D2 Military for that reason. I'd like to see more discrete colors, like the D/E4 Wave, ZDP D/E4, like dark blue (the new Police would be the best knife to start with this color). Black is my all time favorite handle color.

Go for it, you won't be disappointed. This is Spyderco's best. No play, no flaws, nothing to regret. A simple no-nonsense knife with incredible power.

Updated Spyders, what's next

Hello, after all the updated Spyders, I'm wondering what knife will be next. It all started with the D4/E4. The new Police, Military, Paramilitary are in the works. I've heard rumers, that a new Lil' Temperance will be available sometime. These knives are all classics. But one classic is missing. Wh...

Looks like a winner to me, too. But please, put no foliage green scales on it. Try dark blue, or black. But no foliage green.

Military2, Police2, Lil' Temp2, Para-Military2

Hello, I've got a few questions concerning these knives: When will we see the first pictures? Will these knives be available side by side with the current designs, or will the new ones replace the old ones? Are any approx. release dates known yet? What design changes will be made? New locks, materia...

The one and only "Who wants a D/E3 sprint run" a.k.a. "Bring back the D/E3" thread

Hello, after a long time of D/E4 edc I must admit, that I am a little bit disappointed with its performance. When I compare the D/E4 blade to the D/E3 I have made the following observations: D/E4: » blade is a bad slicer, blade cuts like a wedge » after taking apart it is very difficult to reassembl...

Para: blade play problems solved?

Hello, History: I had a Para in the past, but sold it due to blade play that I was unable to fix. Now I have a new one, cause it's the knife that suits me best. The first thing I noticed was that the blade scratched on the handle. I looked at it and the handles seemed to be wedge-shaped, not paralle...

I prefer plain for its versatility and ease of sharpening. A few weeks ago I sold my Military/SE, because a serrated edge is not my piece of cake. It tends to rip more than to cut, though it is better on fibered materials. I do like the look of serrations better than plain, but once it is sharpend i...
