NOW, rough up the cutting edge (increase your angle by 5deg) with a courser stone (go from fine to medium or even 800AO). See how much longer it lasts before you notice degradation in performance.

The man that owned the Falcon that I took pics of uses some his birds around the AFB here in Spokane to keep the area clear of other birds. I hear that it is quite effective!

Oh man Peter, you have some awesome photos here!!!! I especially like the 2nd one. The look in his eyes is just incredible and the lighting and exposure is superb. You have some nice gear and definitely know how to use it!!
