An amazing knife. My go to blade for all clamshell packaging. I would not want to tackle Kid's Xmas gifts W/O it.

I love my mini manix and would really love another but I am concerned about the price point if S90V is used. I assume keeping carbon fiber out would keep the price down as well.

SE blade

Friends:

I have been making a point to have my SE FRN cricket with me more often. It is especially efective at opening clamshell packaging. This knife is so light & compact it is really a no brainer.

My favorite spydies...

My favorite spydies... Hum, first two are easy.

Number one has got to be caly 3 PE. It has not been replaced as my EDC since I got it. I rotate my others, but I am never without that one. I love everything about this one. And I like that It is more sheeple/police officer friendly than a larger ...

I have used for EDC a mini manix PE and a Caly 3 PE ever sins i got my LNIB Mini Manix off the bay about 6 months ago. I carry the caly in my pocket and the manix IWB. Sometimes I also carry a SE Cricket for those occasions that demand teeth, though I prefer PE for most tasks I face.

WELCOME ABOARD!

I have a stretch II in mind after Christmas. Looking forward to your pics. When you are ready to add to your collection, check out the Caly 3. Like you said about your Stretch, I can not imagine going anywhere without my Caly 3 (well maybe not the courthouse, but you get the idea ...

For me, the question would be which blade geometry would I prefer; hands down I would go with the manix, or the mini manix which I already own. It has the finest blade geometry of any S30 V blade I own.

If you want somthing light, go with the PARA. For a heavier duty knife, there is the mini manix.

I have all three including a delica 3 and 4 (no pics though).

Honestly, I would get a Caly 3 over any of those. It is my every day must carry (EDMC). I can not imagine life without this blade. There ...

I found mine along the driveway in the Petunias! SWEET!!

I am hoping any left over CPM D2 goes into a para...and I know I am not the only one wishing for that.

Who has a serrated Para?

How does it compare with the standard edge? I like that Paras are relatively thin stock. I much prefer my ...

I loved mine... until I lost it yesterday.
I hope I find it; it was one heck of a slicer and a much more realistic EDC for my purposes. I will get another if I do not find it, though.
The last time I lost a knife (an AFCK), I replaced it and then found my original in the trunk of my car.

My ...

Based on the steel used, I would perhaps buy the smallest one. I prefer my fixed blades in carbon steel, especially the large ones.

Please try the above link for information. For EDC, I use a T1 from INOVA, though I also have several other choices from INOVA and surefire.

Generally speaking, I prefer glass lenses for my sunglasses. If I were mountain biking or shooting, I would go to a good polycarbonate lens ( I like Natives for that).
