Re: Titanium military question?

The code is a two letter alphabet code on the end of the box, like AK or CL. The first is the month and the second is the year. My Millie is BO. B is the second letter of the alphabet so that is February, the second month of the year. O is the 15th letter so that is 2015. My knife was made in ...

Could you show this code or tell me which letters to look at?

I've always liked the blue ones the most. Any speculation as to when this one might be released ;)

Re: Decisions, Decisions

Thanks for the welcome back!
I do have a few others in my collection: Natives, Harpys, Spyderhawk, Matriarch, Caly Jr. And even a Cricket. But I wanted to get a larger model for edc. The Green Military at KWs looks nice, but I'm thinking I won't mind using the Manix XL - where I might leave the ...

Decisions, Decisions

Just looking for help since I can't make up my mind.
Haven't bought any new Spydercos for a while and just picked up a Domino and a PM2.
Now I've got the bug againn
Been looking at the Military, Endura, Police and Manix 2 XL.
Just using it for EDC, but I don't want to have to go easy on ...

Thanks JD Spydo -
This one is the AUS 8 - partially serrated.
I'm going to send it in to see if Spyderco can fix it for me.
Just got back into fishing last year and need a good fillet knife.
I have a Dexter Russel fixed blade which is very good, but a folder is so much more convenient.
I have a lot ...

No - on mine the blade definately moves side to side. Even seems like the pin will move a little - if I squeeze the end with the blade there is less play.
Do you think Spyderco could do anything with this if I sent it in?
I know I'd have to pay for it to be done, since I'm not the original owner ...

Another Catcherman question

Just picked up a catcherman - the seller said it has blade play.
Boy does it ever - was this common with this model?

Catcherman - C 17

I have been wanting one of these for a while and just picked one up on the auction site. It has the AUS 8 blade. I'm wondering what the going price of this should have been?
It will be a user when spring gets here :D

Yep a little early - I know the date well - November 10th . My father was in for 26 years. I was born on Parris Island, but I never served.
My mother always said that was why Veteren's Day was never changed to a Monday holiday - The Marines needed a day to recover after the Marine Corps birthday ...

I've been carrying a Kel-Tec 9mm for about 7 years now - before that it was a Colt LW Officer's model. I still have the colt and a beautiful Mitch Rosen holster for it, but the Kel-Tec with the belt clip is just so easy to conceal and the weight is great. I always wanted to try the .32, but I can't ...
