It depends on the price. Too much makes it not worth it. For the right price I could buy up too two of each mule. I'm not looking for high quality ironwood, or other such show pieces, just cheap handles that don't have any hot spots. Joe

Jon, the Toad is very uncommonly seen today and is special in that it is the only D'Holder / Spyderco Collab. I am not lucky enough to own one but I did handle one years ago and it was small but it was solid.

WOW, lots of varying opinions but grea to see that respect is the order of the day and each person can share his/hers without reservation.

I doubt if Spyderco appreciates a dealer who WANTS to sell one of their knives and cheapens it by offering it for nearly the same price as they were invoiced wholesale.

I've seen them sell (in the last 6 months) for as little as $40 and as high as $55 - plus postage.

The PE version if one of my all time favorites to carry.

With the reports of the Prototypes and in process / coming soon models I am curious on what (if any) Sprint Runs have been announced for this year?

Definately some in this new crowd that I will add to my collection.

I prefer BG-42 for its ease of Sharpening. Both do well when Stropping or using a Fine Ceramic but during sharpening I found BG-42 to take a much finer edge faster.

Also, though I personally never had an issue with S30V chipping, I have never even HEARD of any issues with BG-42 doing this.
