Re: BladeHQ DLC natural G10 Yojimbo 2

Just checked and mine shipped already. However I did get billed twice but the email I got from CS at BladeHQ said that this might happen. Shouldn't be an issue getting it fixed.

Re: Reputable Online Retailer Sugestions and Experiences Good or Bad

I'm lucky to live close to New Graham. Great shop. I've also spent a lot of money at pretty much every online shop and only had a bad experience with knifecenter (they sent the wrong knife once, but wasn't too bad getting it corrected). Cutlery Shoppe, DLT, knivesshipfree, and knifeworks have all tr...

I only recently started to appreciate the PM2. So many more variants I want, and hopefully will be able to add to my little collection.

Re: More on new Spyderco Light Weights: Let's discuss!

My running/hiking/deep-woods-multi-day-hike folder has been a Bugout. Previously an older Delica. I'm really looking forward to the LW Para 3. I'd love to see a PM2 or the Para3 LW with orange FRN scales.

Re: Para 2/3 vs yojimbo 2

Is it wrong that I like all three equally?
The newest to me is the Yo2. I only have two variants so far, but my Para 3 hasn't seen my pocket in a while, with the PM2 making an appearance occasionally. Then again, I'm sure the Yojimbos will get booted once the LW Para 3 comes out.

Re: BladeHQ DLC natural G10 Yojimbo 2

I'm really looking forward to this Yo2 version. The only other jade G10 I own is the PM2 with DLC M4. I keep waffling on getting the 20CV CF version but I think I'll hold out until this one is available.

Re: Spyderco Maintenance Techniques

This is a cool tip, thanks for sharing. Do you notice any warping of the scales at all when sticking them into a pot at rolling boil? No, I have not noticed any warping. I tried this today with a set of PM2 scales. Amazing results! The pocket clip indentation was completely gone, and the area under...

Re: Knifes that changed your minds - ?

My first 'real' folding knife was the FRN clip AUS-8 Delica that I purchased in the early 90's. Carried that knife for years and it served me well. Prior to the Delica I only carried a SAK. the Delica started my downward spiral.

I've noticed on my 2018, the blade seems not as tall as my other PM2's, like more steel was ground at the edge.

Re: No G10 hawkbill? No problem!

I finally got around to grinding down the back lock to make it more flush with the handle. Also the distal edge where it contacts the tang of the blade was a bit sharp so it needed smoothed down as well. Here's what it looked like before: http://www.fototime.com/A36E5DC517E1686/standard.jpg http://w...

Re: Knives you didn't expect to like so much, or vice versa

My Spyderco experience has always been with Delicas and the various hawkbills. I didn't buy into the PM2 hype until recently, despite owning a few over the years. Now I absolutely love it. Also in the same vein I have been very surprised at how much I love the Para 3. I got my first one only a few w...
