Re: Watch purchasing advice?

It's not difficult to regulate automatic movements yourself. Trial and error if you don't have a fancy machine. You just nudge the little tab over, +/- .

Re: Your collection photo

Nice collection, Daveho! How are you liking that WE KNIFE Practic w/M390? I just got my first WE (Ignition) Knife today and I'm totally elated! Here's my humble collection. It's a bad picture, but I just wanted to post. Knife-Collection-2018-July-NAMED.jpg (Not pictured is my Spyderco A.R.K. that li...

What do you know of watches!
You’re just a 16th century swordsman who wrote a fantastic book that would later be bastardised by westerners for business insights.

Re: Watch purchasing advice?

I realize this community frown upon clones, but after watching my grail Seiko (SBDX001 MM300) consistently increase in price and get further from my budget, I satisfied that itch with a chinese clone. I know, I know, but oh my goodness is it good. For the same price as some of these "starter&qu...

Re: Watch purchasing advice?

The G-Shocks have a cult following and are well made. I've been tempted to buy one over the years, but I really prefer analog over digital. (It's all a matter of personal taste, though). You can get a really nice G-Shock for around $40 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/G-shock-DW9052-1V-Black-Resin...

Re: Scooters

I recently added an entry-level "small" bike to my garage, and it's the only one I ride now, for many of the same reasons. It's small, lightweight, nimble, feels like a bicycle, etc. I tried going smaller first, but found my happy medium in the 999cc Indian Scout Sixty. Everything I tried ...

Re: Spyderco Paysan

When will this C238TIP Rassenti Paysan be available? I'm ready for this. This might be the ultimate (to me). An integrated clip would make it even better though. I also wish it were a little smaller. Should I wait for version 2? The Para Paysan?

Re: Done with Zero Tolerance

I have 5 ZT's and love them all equally. I'll be "done with zero tolerance" after I get just one more, I'm thinking. Probably add another 0562, but the Carbon Fibered version because I've never had a Carbon Fiber handle knife in my life. It's about time, then I'll be done. :D KNIVES-JUNE-1...

Re: Done with Zero Tolerance

I'm a fan of ZT's innovations, like the steel lockface insert that doubles as a over-extension-stopper.

Re: Done with Zero Tolerance

Picked up my cqc 15 yesterday and thought, man I really like this knife, why don't I carry it anymore? Then I put a little pressure on the thumb ramp and felt the lock slip ever so slightly. Oh yea, that's why. Doesn't help that the edge goes almost all the way to the handle, so if it does slip and...

I can vouch for Knife Center http://www.knifecenter.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and Kershaw Guy http://kershawguy.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Great folks I've had good experiences with.

Hopefully they'll start finishing their holes a bit "softer" if enough people have this issue. Ouch!

Put me down for at LEAST one Striderco™. These are my two favorite companies as well as many others here. Just make it an SMF with a ROUND Spydie-Hole and dual gunner grips - with the integrated G-10 backspacer and everything! Right now, Kershaw (ZT) is BANKING off collaborations with Rick Hinderer ...

You can zero the iPhone app at any angle as well, and it gives you to the tenths of a degree. I tested it the same way, with a flat piece of granite slap... It was surprisingly accurate, and FREE! Worth a shot, if you already have an iPod/iPhone, and are interested... At least while you’re waiting f...
