Ankerson, I believe that there would need to be a salesman in order to invoke the term "snake oil". Cliff has made no promises or exaggerated claims. He refers to published research papers by materials scientists, which demonstrate interesting properties of steels with extremely fine grain...

Lots of love from me--a great EDC. I also wouldn't mind it thinner overall (2mm blade would allow the frame to be smaller), and a lock is not necessary. I find that the lack of a lock feels streamlined and reminds me that these "petite" tools are aimed at simple chores, cutting only. With ...

Clip vs no clip is a vital question you must answer.

The Kiwi 4 is striking and highly functional. It would definitely generate conversation.

You could source wood or other decorative scales...

I know that you asked about deciding between two knives, but I suggest you consider a third.
The Stretch is a fine EDC and with its extra belly, might serve well as a skinner. FRN would be quite easy to clean (blood).
