Re: Is the Siren a Salt?

Pre-Ordered! A waved version of this would be super cool too. Just tweak the wave to better open bottles!

Re: Police 4 LW

I would love to have a Waved version! I've been carrying a waved Endura since they came out.
Love the wave!

Re: corrosion on delica?

The only time I've gotten corrosion on VG-10 was when using "Nickle Safe" ice machine cleaner and my Endura to scrape large calcium deposits....and didn't rinse thoroughly right afterword.
Phosphoric acid will etch it.

I dream of a sprint run of Waterway Sheaths so those could ship! ;-)

Re: Sal, any hint as to the Waterway release?

2 quick ideas to speed up sheaths. 1.) A bunch of us could call sheath-maker and beg to hurry up. 2.)Start a Go-Fund-Me page and offer it to them to expedite....
Really looking forward to this one!

Re: Reality-Check please: Are our VG10 Knives slowly poisoning us?

Interesting article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2477708/ Radioactive cobalt 60 ended up in rebar for a huge apartment complex. They were exposed for years. They first expected a catastrophe but no adverse effects have been noted. Residents were actually healthier than baseline. G27

Re: Within the US delivery $ fee from eBay seller

A small USPS Priority mail box costs $7.20 (fixed rate) and is automatically insured for $50. Additional insurance costs extra. This is probably the most expensive option, but will give you and idea on what to expect.

The mule sheath from Spyderco fits the Halpern sculpted scales, but not the flat ones.

Re: Why no more Autos?

I have a couple police friends who carry autos. I always challenge them with with my waved Endura. From pocket to blade deployment I win every time....it isn't even close.
I have no need for an auto, but I do get my wants and needs mixed up some times. ;-)

Re: EDC: Rotation VS Carrying the same knife

I'm so used to the Emerson Waved Endura deployment, I've carried the same one since they were available about 11 years! Sometimes something nicer gets carried for weekends. I wish they'd do a sprint run of Waved Enduras with a FFG in a better steel! I have one that Krein reground FFG and it's awesom...

I got in on the pre-order early. The web listing sure has the SUS410 Laminate scrubbed from both the Description and Specifications!
Is there a general Knife Center length of time from Pre-order to In ship?

Spyderco will send you some spare screws. Call them up!
You could confirm that the liner isn't stripped by moving one of the good screws to the position of the stripped out one. I would only loctite screws that can be snugged tight.
