As Mike has mentioned it was decided that the data not be moved over. We chose this option in respect of your privacy. Not the best option in keeping the forum up but in my opinion the best option. In doing this we were able to move to a different forum server which Mike feels more confortable admin...

Sorry guys I didn't even see this thread. As Mike said the registrar just took a lot longer than we expected to do the transfer. I had assumed it would be done in less than a day or two but they took an entire week. The site is back up now and I encourage everybody to go and join. I already have my ...

I got my first knife a small SAK when I was in the cub scouts. I cut myself pretty bad with that one while whittling some wood. I was so nervous that they would take the knife away from me since I cut myself. I hid the cut for about a week. A 1.5" gash in my leg, Eventually it was seen. The sak...

Knife-BST Changes

Hello Everybody, As many have probably noticed I have not been around much. I do keep up on the forums but don't post much. I have been very busy these days with a new job. Everything is going great but there are some changes that will be made for the betterment of Knife-bst. Knife-bst.com has grown...

I have only been stopped once for carrying my para in Harlem. The detective was nice, he was undecover, saw the clip and asked me to hand it over, I did. Asked if I had a NY state I.d. on me and I gave it to him because I knew it would be easier to just do so. He commented on the quality of the para...

I believe in NYC clipped pocket carry is not considered concealed, if the police can see it, they can question it. Although NYC knife laws/interpretation are pretty jacked up. I certainly have been stopped before for having my unconcealed para, I was lucky the detective knew quality when he saw it ...

Knife-BST.com is down but will be up again soon.

The Host has been doing upgrades and has had a few denial of service attacks done on it, these things are out of my control and they have said the service will be up again within a few hours. To those who have made requests for green accounts, I have you in a queue and will be added once we are back...

I always talk about a working edge. I really don't care if my blades are at their sharpest as I don't really need them to be. I have certainly never sharpened a knife and had it as sharp as they come directly from the factory or resharpening. All of my knives are S30V, except my new UKPN FRN which i...

I was in my HS electricity class during my sophomore year of HS. While moving from first period to second, there was some chatter from the students and a look have concern on our teachers faces. Five or so minutes later an announcement was made in my second period class about a bomb going off. I the...
