Fred is willing to provide a free 'minding' service for any forumite's who may be tempted to take their Spydies apart. I can't promise you'll get them back though. I'm still trying to get mine back from Fred :D

How are they working out for you? Have a link to where you got them from? ETA: I found their website, unfortunately their US distributor doesn't have any in stock.... I find them quite good, though I should've said I primarily use them in a 6P or M2 rather than a G2. I have tried one in my G2 and i...

Dereelight make LED dropin's that will work in a G2. I converted all my Surefire's that take P60's or P90's to Dereelight dropin's a while ago.

Dav doesn't really have a website anymore as he's only making knives on an occasional basis.

You can see some of his past work at http://www.davorama.com/

You know asking for specs gives Diego more excuses to fondle my knives? :D http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f142/tochiro/measure.jpg OK. OAL: 206mm, Closed: 119mm, Edge: 87mm, 4mm thick hand rubbed RWL-34 with liner lock. Oh, and Dialex. Fred say Hi :) he's been playing with his (my?) new Civilian ...

Fred's Civilian

G'day All Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. Fred has been oogling a Civilian for a while now and last week I caved in to the pressure and got myself (him?) one. I didn't receive it of course. Fred confiscated the package as soon as it arrived  He did offer me a look at it so lon...

Diego's latest acquisition

G'day All Diego has been skittering round the house on tippy toes for the last week, anxiously checking his emails and then suddenly early this week he shot off out the door  Perhaps due to Fred having received a Spydie Civilian recently? When I got home from work I found Diego patiently w...

What happens when Fred the Spyder lives with you

G'day All When I got home the other day Diego grabbed me as soon as I got in the door and told me that a parcel had arrived for me, so he skitters off ahead and I follow. However, when we get to the parcel this is what we found: http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f142/tochiro/Spyder/box.jpg This iswh...

First knife for 2010 and it's..... Orange

G'day All My first knife for 2010 arrived last week, a Dav Winch custom folder which he call's 'Mr Stinky' and I thought some photo's might be in order. I already have a few of Dav's knives including another Mr Stinky, which is left handed, that Dav made for me. This new one, that I got from another...

New knives Downunder

G'day All Fred has been a bit of a problem recently, he's been hoarding all my Spyderco's and if I get a new knife he nicks off with it ASAP. I received a new knife this week and somehow managed to keep it secret so, with some help from Diego, I was able to work out a way to keep Fred 'occupied' whi...

Echo: Boris has been lurking around for a while, he doesn't show up much with Fred as Boris doesn't like Spydies as much as he likes Bark River knives. Boris (full name: Boris Bernard Beauregard the Barkie Bug) is the 'bug' that bites and starts the addiction to Bark River Knives. Diego has only rec...

Motor Racing, Spyder Style

G'day All Each October down here is Oz, we have a motor race called the Bathurst 1000 which is sort of the Australian equivalent of the Daytona 500. Its a 1000km race at the Mount Panorama circuit in Bathrust NSW traditionally between Ford and Holden V8 racecars. Well, Fred and Diego had been glued ...
