for F/B I carry a Cold Steel Urban Pal or an Emerson La Griffe. either one fits in a pocket, on a keychain or around the neck. My main considerations in a F/B are concealability and speed accessing it. Either of these work for me

I can't access the 2007 catalogue so wanted to ask if there were any new H-1 steel models listed, different from the current Salt model lineup? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I usually carry a Standard and a La Griffe. The next thing to carry will probably be a swick. I don't buy many knives, the standard I've been carrying off and on for 27 years

I would think the best model would be the one you have on you at the time.
Having said that, I like models with a finger hole (for the index, not little finger).
