Re: The Military 2 CF S90V Sprint has me wondering
I owned The Cutlery Shoppe Manix 2 Lightweight exclusive which had the orange FRN scales and might have had CPM-S90V (I just checked and it was CPM-S90V) for the blade steel but I honestly can't recall atm because I sold it years ago. I know it wasn't CTS-XHP like some of their other exclusives but ...

Re: Military 2 CF s90v sprint run
tbh this Millie 2 is what brings me here more than anything atm. i got one of the first batch of M2s with black G10 and plain S30V blade and i may not be in the majority here (or maybe i am, idk) but that knife was meant to have a comp. lock. i just find them to be superior to most other locks ...

Microjimbo
i have to be honest here, i've never really been bit by the Yojimbo bug (although that S90V/CF Sprint that was out a little bit ago almost sucked me in but i resisted). then along comes this guy. or the concept of this guy. for reasons mostly beyond my understanding, i gotta have it.

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
after what seemed like an eternity of waiting and then months of more waiting for a store to have it in stock, I finally procured a Millie 2. this being my first foray into the larger than PM2 Spydies, while it is pretty friggin big, with a deep carry clip it disappears right into the corner of my ...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
as I've been waiting somewhat anxiously for this puppy to finally show up, I'm glad that it's finally materializing but man... I forgot the frustration of seeing that email from a dealer that it's in stock just for them to be gone already in the seemingly eternal amount of time it takes me to tap a ...

Re: Really liking S90V
S90V is the knife steel to beat all knife steels imo. I have a PM2, Para 3, a Delica and a knife by another company in S90V and 3 out the 4 I usually have within reach either in my pockets or a bag of some sort. That other one kinda just sits in a drawer.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I got a Frankenstein'd PM2 (DLC S90V blade with basic black scales and black hardware) and then a Frankenstein'd Para 3 (the grey Maxamet scales with black hardware and the basic DLC coated S45VN blade).
oh and, it's not my pocket but around my neck, the DLC coated Subway Bowie

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Im pretty sure I know of at least 3-4 variations that have been directly named or implied, but I’m being kinda vague because I feel weird speculating about things that haven’t been made known “officially”.
I feel the same way about BBB’s collaboration knife and that blurry photo of it from the ...

Re: What is Spyderco's current policy on broken screws?
I appreciate everyone's responses.
I’d carefully drill out the screw. I needed to do this once to a factory installed cross threaded screw. I then bought an extra clip, which comes with new screws.
It might be worth contacting their warranty and repair department directly. They will be able ...

What is Spyderco's current policy on broken screws?
I hope this isn't a redundant post but I wasn't able to find an answer.
One of the clip screws on my Spydiechef snapped just below the head of the screw so there are no threads left to secure the screw in any capacity. Would Spyderco replace it? I know this was a point of contention a while back ...

Re: Military 2 (PRE-ORDER) posted on KnifeCenter $196
Military 2.... PM2XL.... the name I care not about, the steel on the other hand, imo, is the bread and butter of any knife and while I personally would have liked to have seen the first iteration in S45VN I will gladly buy the S30V version to get me through until the inevitable S90V Sprint Run comes ...

Re: Spyderco Military 4V DLC St. Nick's Exclusive
I will get one just to swap the scales for an all black model with the 4V
i did this with a DLC'd S90V PM2 blade that was a distrubutor exclusive but it had teal scales. I'm an S90V simp and anything S90V I gotta get but teal..... not my style. so i put the S90V blade with the black scales ...

Re: Military 2 info? Anyone?
man... we all about that likely CF/S90V Sprint run. lol. while I would LOVE an S90V variety (scales I don't really care as much about) I'll be happy with the standard S30V one too.
a jade/CPM-M4 one sounds like it'd be pretty sweet too tho

Military 2 info? Anyone?
Hello,
I searched thru past topics manually and using the search function but could not find any info on the upcoming Military 2. More specifically, when it's going to ship/start showing up at retailers. I saw the 2023 upcoming list said Jan. 23 but I know the folks at Spyderco like to keep us ...

Re: What percentage of your knives are spyderco?
somewhere between 90 and 95%. I'd have to whip out a quackulator or some long since dissipated basic high school math knowledge for a 100% accurate answer but that's currently too much work to not be getting paid for (lol). i have more Spydies then anyone else I kno personally tho. but that also ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Today I'm rocking a Para 3 frankenstein (DLC coated S45VN blade and black hardware and liners of the latest base model with the grey scales from the Maxamet variant), my old Spydie Chef because I still see no need to use the new one and the wildcard of the day is the Amalgam. Why 3? Your guess is as ...

Para 3 LW Coffin
My favorite Spyderco (other than the Spydiechef) is hands down the OG Para 3. Sadly though, I have missed out on several of the Para 3 exclusives and sprints. So, now that the Para 3 LW is getting exlusives with premium blade steels I've been Frankensteining some of my grail knives.

the new blacked out S45VN Para 3.
i already have the uncoated version as my user so i figured I might as well get one now instead of deciding 6 months from now that I want one and they're nowhere to be found except on ebay for $300
