Re: DigDug72, thanks for the inspiration

Way to go, I like the look! Did you thin the scales? That was one of my biggest complaints with the Southard.
IMO, it looks a lot like a thinner Techno, which takes care of my biggest complaint about the Techno :P
Excellent job!

Re: What's Spyderco's Consensus Grail Knife?

Most people: Whats a Spyderco? People who at least know the brand: Wait arent they all made in Japan? People who like the brand but get all their info from youtube: Slysz Bowie People like us with a problem: Whatever is not already in the collection. ^^^Lol, spot on! I’d say the Slysz Bowie, or Spy...

Re: Hey Guys who makes the best Scales for a Shaman?

PM sent.

As far as aftermarket scales go, I prefer Fireside or SDK. RC Bladeworks is good, too. I tend to dislike RGT, but need to try them more since I have had varying results.

For your needs especially, it is impossible to beat the value that comes from the Native 5 LW sprint in Rex45. $112 and readily available!

That sounds great, I’d love one with Peel ply, though I’m sure that’s what it’d be.

Re: Pacific Salt on markdown

I have personally bought near 5 of them from eBay, all were 100% as expected. They had black blades, black handles, in PE, and all were 100% new/unused/authentic CQI models. To top it off, each were around $50-$60. They’re my go-to gift knife, since this is how I was first introduced to Spyderco. I ...

Re: Bladeops waved pm2 exclusive

I have to say I am more impressed than I thought I would be. It’s a neat idea, but I am mostly impressed with the different blade grind. It’s weird to see in person, after seeing so many (exclusively) clip point FFG PM2. It’s also a noticeably heavier blade, which changes things up as well. I will m...

Re: Benshot Lil Native Rocks glass

One interesting thing about the blade, is that it's nearly fully finished. It's ground almost completely, just missing an edge, it has all the typical laser markings including a date code, and the spine is even polished around the pivot. I'd be surprised if all that work was done to these blades ju...

Re: Benshot Lil Native Rocks glass

I ordered some. That 2nd amendment glass is very cool, but you couldn’t brim it with bullets and expect it to be worth anywhere near something like this, not that anyone asked ;) I am stoked to get mine! Part of me wants to assemble lil native hardware onto it(while leaving it in the glass). Now wou...

steelcity16, surely you didn't forget to ask for them DLC coated....did you? I know I’d go for one of those three, if they were dlc coated.
I’ll be more interested in the Delica. VG10 is fantastic, IMO. Boring, but excellent.

Re: St. Nick's 4v pm2!

Lol, now now... we need to hit the brakes on this hype train. I don’t think anyone needs to be rushing to their PC, DAY OF launch, or anything. It should hang around. We can all relax, and enjoy family at this time. Yeah? No more knives. No more FOMO or anything of the sort. Day of release, at least...

Re: St. Nick's 4v pm2!

That’s what I’m worried about :/ as I’m sure everyone else is as well. Hopefully the bigger sized run will make this more attainable. I was all about this idea, but if I miss out, I’ll be happy with the past St. Nick’s exclusives that I have been lucky enough to own.

Re: SNK Manix 2 4V Coming....

Gotcha, that’s another thing. It is sweet. I love the DLC everywhere! I’m not a black/red type of guy, but I’m all about these St. Nick’s exclusives. No way I can bring myself to use them, though. I have plenty of similar users that take the abuse.

Re: SNK Manix 2 4V Coming....

Carrying it every day is one thing, but have you seen a Province? The Manix 2 could be replaced by the Para 3 or Shaman in 4V just fine, and then you’d have a Province.

I really must say, this colouring just looks horrible to me. The mismatched thing is not for me.
I cracked up at this, hahaha! You are just saying what is on everyone’s mind. I think most would agree, though there are some who like it.

Looking good, ZrowsN1s! I much prefer that look vs stock.

Re: Native 5 Lightweight Rex 45

Yeah, the Native 5 is like a dream for maintenance! I haven’t taken apart many different models, but compared to the few I have taken apart, such as a Para_____ or Strech_____, the Native 5 LW is as easy as can be. No standoffs, no separate lanyard tube, no washers, no liners.

Re: Fastest selling Sprint knife?

I haven’t ever had trouble getting sprints, even the Crucarta Shaman(at MAP price) was no problem. I get lucky, and I am persistent. I haven’t been collecting long, but long enough to know they are easy enough when you do your part(research). I certainly don’t mean to brag, I just want to let others...
