Super Blue Calypso, Jr.
I recently picked up a Super Blue Calypso, Jr. sprint run in a trade and, all in all, it's a nice little knife. Not as "hard use" as a similarly-sized Delica, but it's fun. I heard reports of off blade centering (which mine has; not the end of the world), but my example also has a fair amo...

Manix 2 LW Sprints?
With the release of the DLT Trading exclusive Manix 2 red G10, made me wonder if we will ever see additional sprints or exclusives of the LW version? I much prefer the LW version and would love to see a Salt sprint with LC200N with yellow FRN or maybe a BladeHQ jade FRN with M4. The only sprint/excl...

Re: Need Your Input - Which to Buy?
No size restrictions at all where I live. And I do own several larger knives including a PM2 and a Domino. I think I’ve just come to prefer the FRN spydies as they represent (for me) that sweet spot of still being a “nice” knife, but also a knife that I’m not worried about using or abusing. Seems mo...

Re: Need Your Input - Which to Buy?
I do own two compression locks (PM2 and Para3), as well as three Axis locks (Griptillian, Nakamura, and 940). I suppose I'm identifying these three knives because I am a fan of Spyderco's FRN durability, thin profiles, ergos, and just everyday usability. Perhaps I should have narrowed my question to...

Need Your Input - Which to Buy?
I've got about $150.00 burning a hole in my knife fund, and I'd like some input on which of the following knives I should buy. Couple of things: 1) I work in an office setting, so, practically speaking, I don’t really need a larger knife, 2) I own a Delica and Manbug in V-Toku2, and plan on getting ...

I'm with you. I'd really like to buy, but have to recoup those funds. Hopefully there will be a PM2 run in this combo and I'll pick it up then.

I'm with you. Picked up the Delica and then the Manbug. Waiting on the Stretch to round out the family.

Re: Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Lets hear from the owners.
Agree with everything above and, if nothing else, the compression lock is just plain fun to fidget with, especially on the larger blade.

Re: Updated shaman sprint steel poll
A few months ago I was trying to select my first, larger Spydie. I gave serious consideration to the Shaman, but "settled" on the Rex 45 PM2 and thought I could then direct my knife-attention elsewhere. Yet, the Shaman is back, and if a micarta/cruwear sprint happens, the Rex will begin to...
