Re: Spy27 models ?

The models that I'm aware of are: Para 3 Lightweight - C223PCBL Native 5 Lightweight - C41PCBL5 Manix 2 Lightweight - C101PCBL2 Might be others. Except for the Spy27 Mule, I think that’s all of them. I’m really hoping they make more models in this steel, specifically the Military & Native Chief. I ...

Re: MT31P - Mule Team Featuring CPM S45VN - Release Date

I’m really hoping I can get one, I’m planning on gifting it to my father. I’m hoping to get one for my self too ;) My father just recently bought his first Spyderco knife last week, a knifejoy exclusive Para 3 Lightweight. I’m going to see him this weekend so I’ll find out how he likes the knife. He...

Vape juice is VG(vegetable glycerine) and Nicotine, and if Nicotine is not carcinogenic, then there is NO harm. Did you know that there is nicotine in vegetables?
That may be the case across the pond but I don’t think company’s here in the United States are quite so concerned with our health.

Re: How "In Shape" are You?

I struggled to quit smoking and gave up about a month ago however I think I’m about ready to give it another try. I'm 60, and smoked for at least a decade over my life. I took up vaping September, 15, 2015 and although tricky at first, I stuck with it and gave up smoking for good after a few weeks....

Re: For the Love of Carbon Fiber!

Haven't seen this one in months, since my wife laid claim. She pulled it out to cut her steak at the hotel and I snuck in to take a picture. https://i.ibb.co/gJyx94H/20210406-204830.jpg I think I may have to break down and buy another. It's such a fantastic package. Has the best action of any comp ...

Re: How "In Shape" are You?

I’m a skinny guy. I’m 5’10” (177.8cm) and I’ve never exceeded 140lbs (63.5kg) I average between 130lbs (58.9kg) and 135lbs (61.2kg). I however do not claim to be “fit”. I smoke cigarettes and I eat whatever I want so I would really hate to see what the inside of my arteries look like. I probably don...

Re: What is your profession?

Warehouse manager, customer service & jack of all trades for this little privately owned paint store. Been there awhile now, longer than any other place I’ve ever worked.

I’ve never really been able to find a job I enjoy but I have a good thing here.

Re: That Native Chief ... is huge!!

I personally like large knives. I own the Police 4 lightweight and my next purchase will probably be the Native Chief or Military when the new DLC ones come out. I’ll get them both eventually but I’m hoping the Native Chief will be made in the new CPM SPY27 with blue G10. We’ll see (fingers crossed)

Re: First Spyderco - S30v or SPY27?

I bought a Native in Spy27 a few weeks ago, it came very sharp, it is very light, no any kind of play, pretty happy with it. It is my fifth Native 5.. and still wanna buy another two or three. About the steel: https://knifesteelnerds.com/2020/03/02/cpm-spy27-experiments-toughness-corrosi...

Re: Paramilitary 2 Trainer

I feel like the Paramilitary 2 is one of if not the most popular Spyderco. Wouldn't a Paramilitary 2 in a trainer be great? What are your thoughts? Would you want a trainer in this model? :spyder: I think Spyderco making a trainer of the Paramilitary 2 and the Military as well is a good idea. I cou...

Re: It’s time for a Police LW Salt!!

I really think a Police Salt is a great idea. I voted PE LC200N but running it in PE & SE would be ideal. So many people have been asking for a full serrated Police Lightweight lately. Lightweight, strong, large and rustproof. I think a Police Salt would be an awesome knife for military and first re...

Re: How did you get interested in Spyderco knive

I’ve liked knives since about the age of 4... My father gave me my first knife, a Victorinox Camper at the age of about 5. Immediately after handing it off to me he warned me that it was sharp and I should be very careful not to cut myself. Of course I sliced my thumb about 30 seconds after that lol...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Uggghhh...all these glowing posts on the Chief, in my favorite steel...is tempting me to spend $170 I didn't plan on spending!! I miss my Military as my one folder that stands out against the rest because of it's size, seems like this could be a great replacement for it. The Chief does look temptin...

Of the 8 Spyderco lockback knives I own
2 Golden 1 Byrd the rest Seki City... only my Pacific salt has blade play and I’m honestly going to send it back for warranty repair because it just bothers me.

A combo I threw together a few months back but haven't really carried much since doing so. Not really sure why either, my 2nd favorite Manix!

Re: The Truth About The Ikuchi

I’ve heard some people saying online that the compression lock is difficult to access and disengage. Do you all find that this is the case? I’m curious because I’ve wanted one since it came out but this is the only flaw (if there is a flaw at all) that is stopping me. Any input is greatly appreciate...
