Re: SpydieChef Stock
The McBee has also been hard to find. Hopefully it's going to come back soon, along with the Spydie Chef.

Re: Mcbee
I've been waiting on a McBee restock to pick one up. It seems like beyond the initial batch, retailers haven't received more. Since it hasn't been officially discontinued it's probably just a matter of time before it gets restocked.

Re: What's the one that got away?
Like a previous poster here, The Dodo. By the time I convinced myself to get one, it was just gone. I still regret it sometimes.

Re: What is this on the new Spydiechef lock bar?
Not to add fuel to the fire, but in the past, when this question has been asked (countless and countless times again, those who were around for the Techno, Bowie and Sage 2 releases remember), no answer has ever been provided. I'm really not sure why there is such a huge hang up about it. It's alway...

The Dodo. I had one briefly years ago and still regret getting rid of it since they are impossible to find now.

Techno vs Techno 2 slicing and cutting performance
How do the two models compare for slicing (think cardboard, apples, general food processing)?
If anyone has had both, or even just the Techno 2, I'd like to hear what you think.

Re: Techno 2 Timeline
Has anyone been able to compare both versions of the Techno in a slicing test yet? I'm just curious how much better the thinner blade stock will perform for slicing tasks.

Is this knife actually coming out in 2018? The anticipation is killing me.

Re: Techno vs Techno 2
There seems to be a lot of confusion floating around about this... The original Techno had a carburized lock face. It was basically ‘heat treated’ similar to the way a Sebenza is done. This is not the same as carbidizing. Many of the Taichung framelocks have been carburized, to good effect evidentl...

Re: Knives going out of stock in Canada?
What disappoints me the most about this is I was really looking forward to some new knives like the Techno 2 and Swayback, but with these new changes it's guaranteed they will never get stocked in Canadian stores. I'll see if I want to risk importing them from US retailers when they do come out, but...

Re: Dragonfly H1 Hawkbill for self defence
What's most likely to happen in most situations where people try to use knives for self defense is your opponent takes it away from you, and now they have a knife. Without actual training and practice, no knife is going to help you in a fight. Your best weapon is a pair of good running shoes in near...

Re: The officially unofficial new Techno 2 thread!
Since people still think this.... Oh, I also feel that taking away the lockbar insert is a huge step backwards in quality. There seems to be a lot of confusion floating around about this... The original Techno had a carburized lock face. It was basically ‘heat treated’ similar to the way a Sebenza ...

Open a case on eBay. You'll win for sure. You can also open one through PayPal but doing it through eBay is simpler.
